I picked a bunch of these today to give to my Dad in assisted living. -
Pussy willows! They grow in the riverbed near here.

I figured I would say goodnight/goodafternoon. Nice talking to you, Grace. I hope Matt didn't put you on the spot by handing you the phone, he can be like that. He's such a goober! And I love him dearly!!!!
-
Meece, what a story about your son. A celebration of his baptism. The angels are rejoicing. I love the pictures of the beauty God has created. Saw white dogwood, blooming crabapple trees and forsythia on our way to South Carolina. Such beauty of spring. Our God is an awesome God.
-
Amen, Mary!

My garden is a lake right now.

I'm sorry deborye. It, too will dry and be transformed to beauty again. I love spring to be in awe of God's awesome love for us to create such beauty.

White Eggplants. Aren't they adorable?
-
I had a lot of egg plants last Summer. Can't wait for them this year as well.
-
Few years ago DD planted Japanese eggplants. They are very long and practically seedless.
I love any type of eggplant.
-
I had Japanese eggplant in 2008, but my globe eggplant produced 10 times as many.

Took a beautiful evening stroll with the DH tonight. The azaleas are in bloom and so very beautiful. While on a short vacation, I saw beautiful birds in the forrest. Made me think of the Word talking about how God cares for the sparrow and how much more He will care of us.

Behold the lilies of the field
Behold the lilies of the field,
they neither toil nor sow;
yet God does all things needful yield
that they may live and grow. Not Solomon in glory shone
like one of these poor flowers,
that look to God and God alone
for sunshine and for showers. And does his mercy value less
the offspring of his grace?
And will a Father's love not bless
the child that seeks his face?He is our Father, and he knows
his earthly children's need:
on all our daily wants and woes
he looks with careful heed.O then away with fear and care
for all that may betide;
and turn to God in trustful prayer,
and in his love confide.Words: Cecilia M Caddell (1813-1877)

Matthew 6 vv 28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
-
Grace, I just opened Matt's video. Tears of joy came to me. I am so very happy! Thank you and your DH for being there!
-
Meece...I can relate to that feeling.

It's sunny today-beautiful in S. Oregon. Feel like "Climb climb up Sunshine Mountain, Heavenly breezes blow. Climb climb up Sunshine Mountain, Faces all aglow. Turn, Turn from sin & sorrow, look up in the sky! Climb climb up Sunshine Mountain, you & I" Have a great weekend.

I am sorry for your impending loss, Deborye. But I am glad you know where he is going. What a blessing a relief to know that. (((((Hugs)))))
