Good Morning all,

So I had my pelvic ultrasound and CA125 last week and the doc told me she should have the results probably sometime today.  Now I am afraid to call because I'm afraid she might tell more bad news.  I just don't know how I could handle another cancer diagnosis right now.  I can barely keep my mind off the bc thing.  I know I need to find out what's up so I'll probably call while I'm getting my chemo today.  Then if it's bad news at least I'm there to talk with someone.  GRRRRR, CANCER SUCKS!!!!!!

Take care all,

Sharon

    pupfoster,

I just posted on one of your other threads about bc and ovarian cancer at the same time.  I'm going through this same scare right now (complex cyst found on a routine pelvic ultrasound)  so I'm totally with you on how scary it is!  I hope you've called by now and have found out everything looks normal.

    Hi Ladies,

Called during chemo and the doc had not signed off on the ultrasound yet so the nurse couldn't give me the results yet.  And at that time the CA125 had not come back yet.  She may call me back tonight after office hours, she has done that in the past.  If not I'll call again tomorrow.  Weety, I'm sorry your'e having an issue with this area too.  When will you know more??? It's like adding insult to injury---ENOUGH ALREADY!  When I mentioned the pelvic pain today in front of the RN running the chemo she said it could be a bowel issue.  I always thought that would be more in the back end (if you know what I mean ::)))  and she said no it runs all around the front too; so who knows?????  It still feels more "labor" like in the female areas to me, but I'm so unsure of my body now.

Anyway, you all are SOOO awesome.  I love you all and appreciate you following up with me and for your continued support.  (((((HUGS))))) to you all!

Sharon, that's true, in chemo, I did have a lot of pain from constipation in this area.  Hoping it's something insignificant like this!

Hey - I just thought i'd post that, I also had a pelvic ultrasound and CA-125 and the gyn onc almost wanted to stop my chemo because there was an unindentified mass on one of my ovaries. Long story short, I was able to finish my 6 rounds of TAC but then had ovaries out 3 weeks after last chemo - turned out to be endometriosis.  So, do not panic - there are many non-cancerous things it could be.  Hope you get good news soon!
