Hi ladys just have a question,I just had my 4 months check up.Everything looks good,Labs normal,tumor markers Low.I'm on arimidex,My question is i have been having back pain shoulder Pain,more then the last time,the Onc wasnt worried,could this be  a sign of bone  mets.He said he dident want to see me fore 6 months.I had a bone densidy test yesterday......I'm scared what do you ladys think it could be,what are symtoms of bone mets........godbless roxy

    Hi Roxy,

    I have the shoulder pain at times but no back pain. Im thinking this is probably a side effect of the arimidex. I am on Femara which causes pain also. I think Femara and arimidex are about the same.

    Maybe also leftover pain from Chemo or Rads or Surgery. It doesn't sound as though your Onc is worried, so you shouldn't either.

    Roxy I have back pain as well but it's from swiming and lifting my baby but still I had to ask the doc.

    They told me that if there was an explanation or it went away with tylenol etc it was probably nothing. Do you do a lot of stretching? That might help.

    But if your doc says it's ok-I am sure it is-but if you feel instinctly that something is wrong you could push for a scan.
