Well this will be my first mammo since last Feb.When my enlarged lymph nodes showed up,nothing in breast.So I am a little nervous,but positive everything will be fine.I also see my surgeon,and I think I will ask her about an US,since nothing did show in my breast.

Can't imagine getting my boob squished,since it still is sore from rads.

Also this site has been so positive for me.Thanks!

    Hi Anna,  I know how you must be feeling.  I went for my first anual mammo last week for the first time since my diagnosis last year.  I was so stressed at the thought of going to have the remaining breast done. At least it's over till next year.

    Hi Anna,  What a year this has been for you.  I'm so glad you are fine.  It seems an ultrasound is a very reasonable request under the circumstances.  Squishing that poor radiated boob is just too much.  I'll keep you in my thoughts and keep fingers crossed for you that all will be very, very normal.  Big HUGS!     No mammo today,we are having a big snow storm,couldn't travel to the city.So mad,because I also had to see surgeon,and get a muga.Oh well,wanted to get this over,but I have to reschedule.Thanks for your good wishes.

    Anna - I get annual Mammo, U/S and MRI - all three. If you have any concerns that something could be missed, ask if you can get at least an ultrasound, maybe an MRI too. I get them spaced out over the year (4 months apart)

    Anyhow, hope you get to reschedual soon.

    Anna, I've been watching the weather for our area and see you are getting slammed there with this snow nor easter.  Stay warm and don't go out.  Sorry you had to miss your appt after psyching yourself up for it.
