unsure with my results can anyone advise

hi

just wonderd if any of you ladies could give any advice

been for my results today after having mx 3 weeks ago, been told that the vessels in the breast showed signs of cancer so they couldnt stage me at this moment in time as i have to have a ct scan

has this happened to anyone else

any advice on this would be great

Hmmm, have you had your scans yet to check for distant spread? If not, don't worry, we all go through these, nerve-wracking though they are!
Chest X-ray, Abdominal Scan, Bone Scan are a few.

i havent had any scans at all

do you think thats what they may be looking for

all i was told was were scanning you because of you age ? i am 34 dont know if i belive thats the only reason xx

Everyone has the "staging" scans. I thought they had already "found something" too (how, with their X-ray eyes??) They are very stresssful, but not indicative of anything other than you have BC.

what they are doing is "gathering information" before they decide a treatment plan of attack....(ie..chemo...radation...etc) it is hard to begin all of this...it is so scarey and overwhelming...but you are doing great and we are all here to help. **the gathering of information" is REALLY important so hang in there.
