Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

I am very excited about survivor, it has always been my favorite show. I love Rupert and Colby the very best of the men. It should be a really good show. I wonder if that sleeze Russel will try to use his same plan, surely it can't work twice. LOL
-
Cant wait!!! Missed the show on the 4th - was it good?
Michele, I never realized that the show was so hard to get on. How many interviews? I think about trying out but would be too disappointed if I didn't get in!
-
Jaybird the show on the 4th covered some old episodes. Like unforgettable moments.
but had nothing to do with the coming Survivor.
Those who are taping remember its 2 hours this week.

So looking forward to tonight!!! Can't wait for it to start. And, for those like me who are cross overs to Amazing Race - that is starting on Sunday. When it rains, it pours.
-
Reminder - tonight is Survivor............. Yipeeeeeee. I am so curious to see how Boston Rob and Russell do on the same team.
-
Was his name Hunter?? Sounds so familiar - going to have to look it up.
-
It was one of the best episodes of Survivor. I dont say anything in order not to spoil the fun those who taped it or are in a different time zone.
-
It's just starting here ohhhhhhh I am so excited
-
The opening of the show was so different. I thought they were gonna jump from the helicopters
-
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Boston Rob next week...hope he's ok...
-
If you like to read about Survivor if you go to ew.com (which is Entertainment Weeklys website) Jeff Probst writes a blog which goes up the day after the show and there is a really good article up about the show today - lots of behind the scenes info. Now can hardly wait for sunday for Amazing Race.....
-
Great show............. I think what was nice is that we know the players and don't have to go through a bunch of episodes before we figure out the different personalities.
-
Great show! Jenn, I agree - the 'worst' part of Survivor is getting to know everyone, or trying to before they're gone.
-
Oh, and what is up with Jerri and Coach? He did have a wife/significant other, didn't he? It sure did look like there were sparks between them - unless it was only creative editing?
-
Too much fighting was going on tonight's episode.
Didnt enjoy it.

I think this proves that this game brings out the nasty in people. Individually, each hero looked so good in the previous game they played, but when you put all the "Heros" together, they don't look so angelic. I am now officially rooting for Boston Rob only. Yeah, he acted out a little bit last night, but at least he was man enough to admit it. I suspect he arrived pretty tired with a newborn in the house and the conditions didn't help him much. That being said, ther is no way the villians would have won that challenge without Rob. Go Rob!!!!
-
Well,go figure--my two favs were the first two voted off!! Looks to be a physically brutal season. The two teams seemed to fall apart rather quickly. Think it will be another good show. Looking forward to next Thurs.
-
Just found you gals...LOVE SURVIVOR...have seen all but one season.
-
I really liked Stephanie too, but then I like all of the Heros.... oh well someone had to go. I'm really pulling for Rob on the Villans tribe. He is great and made for this game! Russell isn't liking Rob so much though................
-
I had to DVR and watched this morning, I am so disappointed in James I hope he can get his feelings in check, it's a game and even if he was right about Stephanie there is a way to be subtle and get your point across, I still like Russell for his evilness but we haven't seen too much of him, it's probably hard being surrounded by his own kind and like you Anne it's Boston Rob for me the fact that he could shake off the flu and get his head in the game, amazing.
-
Ok, I am on board! Was out of town, DVR'd the two shows and just finished up last nite. Junie, I am like you...Sugar and Stephanie were two of my favs. And I love the fact that you know who everyone is! I am not rooting for Boston Rob. Him and Amber already had a million. I would like to see someone win, that hasn't won yet. That being said....I am undecided.
Boy some of those Villians are out right mean and nasty. Some of their comments are uncalled for, unless they were told to do that. Who was it that pulled Stepanies arm out of the socket? And Courtney, the girl has no weight to lose! She is nothing but bones!
Its funny watching Russell scrambled to be KING.
I hope the HERO's get their sh*t together.
Like I said, I DVR the show, but don't come to this thread until I've watched it!

I don't have a fave yet, but maybe Jerri as I always like her.
Coach seems to be laid back this time but who knows?
Never liked James and now I really don't like him. Maybe they all act like a**holes at times but they decided to edit him being that way. I hope his number is up soon.
Tom is for sure a class act and if he won again I wouldn't be upset.
Rupert may or may not be a jerk, again possibly the editing at fault.
I didn't like how they edited the show to seem like Stephanie was the one going, almost anti-climactic at tribal council.
Boston Rob is good but then he's used to the reality shows being on The Amazing Race (I think that's what he was on?) at least once if not twice (I could be wrong as I don't watch that show).
It will definitely end up being a very interesting season IMO.
-
I am hoping for Rupert to win...Reason being, is that I am in a Survivor pool...everyone is assigned a character...we all put in $10 to play. At the end..who evers character wins gets $150, second place gets $50, and third place gets $10..
-
I just watched last Thurs episode last might. Missed first episodes.
James sure is different than how I remember him! I remember him being so even-tempered.....and now he's acting like an a$$hole!!
I always liked Stephanie too, but gueee it wasn't meant to be. Sure will be interesting to see how all the different personalities mesh together - especially with KING Russell LOL

Last night's episode seemed somewhat predictable.............. I like it when there are two sets of challenges, not one challenge for both reward and immunity.
Is it me or does James seem to be turning into a "villian" with that attitude. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder.
I'm still loving Rob, but then I like him the last two times he was on the show.
-
I wonder if James' behavior is not really that new. Perhaps it was edited differently last time. Or, perhaps the fame has gone to his head?
-
If Russell can become a lamb, i guess everything is possible.
-
Hi everyone
A little late jumping in but here is my 2 cents worth. First off I would like to say that in general I really love the show but this season is turning out to be a disappointment. I think largely inpart to the editing.
I don't understand what happened to have the whole villans tribe turn on Randy???NOT that I like him but feel that was a stupid choice. What kind of threat was he???
Something more has to be going on with James..and they are not showing it.
I will continue to watch w/ the hopes it gets better. One more question where did the bottles come from they are drinking out off?
-
I was wondering why the V team didn't question Russel about where the machete was...did they not see the last season where he burned cloths, emptied canteens...or was this show taped before they showed last season on the air? Lovin Rob, Not lovin James...

That is what I thought....
