Appreciate the confessions...

Thank you all who confessed to contributing to the great carolina ice age. We're doing better here. Yesterday at 6am 700 (!) Duke Power workers from South Carolina and Georgia arrived at a park here, a tent city was hastily put up for them, and they worked long after dark. One fellow told me they were essentially building the electrical system "from the ground up." They are still here, and power is starting to flow again. The sun is out! 37 degrees. No longer the crackling sound of large trees thundering to the ground.
