Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Well Debbie , since you are our appointed liaison, I will just ask that you relay the message that I have indeed tried to reach Pat many times in the last few weeks, but have never had any luck. I have turned to this site on a regular basis to find out things I would otherwise not have known - so I am grateful for that. I stopped writing messages to my sister when it was clear that she could no longer read them - or write back. I would still be willing and able to fly over, if she would like to see me. I know that she has asked our youngest sister to visit - and I am in the process of trying to convince Roberta that she MUST go, especially since Pat has asked her more than once to visit. I will personally finance Bert's trip if need be (but don't tell Pat that part!)
If Pat can relay to you a time when I CAN reach her on the phone, I will keep the appointment - NO MATTER WHAT!
I love you, dear Sister, and am once again having a hard time being so far away and so out of the loop. I wish there were SOMETHING - ANYTHING I could possibly do to lessen your pain and fear. I am continually seeking the thread of your spirit from afar - just to hold your hand.
With you always,
Mo

God bless you Mo.

Faith typing, Saint talking:
"New hope on the horizon. The big dog at UW-in-radiation called and thinks there is a different spot that if radiated, might improve the double vision. We go to Madison tomorrow to see him.
At least we get to try something new.
Fingers, legs, and eyes *LOL** crossed -- keep us in your prayers.
The whole idea-possibility has helped me psychologically.
Hugs to all.
Faith is reading me everyone's posts & PMs. Thank you to everyone.
Be well and stay strong."
-
P.S. Mo, faith PM'd you for me.
Love ya.
-

Sending pre-dawn prayers my friend.
I'm so excited, that you're so excited.
You'll be with your 'big-dog' at the exact same time I'm with mine..... even allowing for the time zone difference. God is in the details.
*********I have been meaning & meaning to update everyone on the "Cinderella-goes-to-Scotland" fund that we started last month. There have been dozens of donations for Saint's daughter to participate in a school-theatre-trip next summer. The donations have already totalled over $650!!!!
Wow, how cool is that!!??!!!
It is such an act of support to their entire family. We have until late-spring to add to this number. If you need Saint's home address or her paypal info, just drop me a PM.
At "Apple's" suggestion, our Cinderella will be sending 'thank you notes' thru the PM function of the site here, in an effort to maximize every penny & save on stamps etc. So if you could include your screen name, with your donation -- she will know how to extend her appreciation.
So keep that generosity flowing.
Say prayers for all big-dogs today!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Edited due to lack of sleep. LOL.

Love you gals!!

Short story:
Saint and I have spent most of our phone time answering PMs.
That's a good thing.
She made it safely to the appointment this morning with her DH. There's a "lot" to process and she will be doing that tonight.
It's time for heavy-duty praying folks to step up to the plate.
It's time for heavy-duty good wishes-senders to send those up.
It's time for the candle-lighters to get to light up candles.
I don't mean to be dramatic.
I just mean that it's time for us to shower Saint with the love she has demonstrated here for years.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
and of course she would add:
be well and stay strong

Saint, a few years back when the Catholic Church updated the Catechism, our parish gave a copy to each family. When Faith tonight asked for prayers, especially from a Catholic perspective, I thought that might be a good place to start for inspiration.
I opened it to the sections that talk about faith. The topics seem fitting: The necessity of faith, Perseverance in faith, Faith-the beginning of eternal life, and the next paragraph begins with a quote from 2 Cor 5:7 : "we walk by faith, not by sight"
Love and prayers for healing, answers, acceptance, humor and courage continue.....
-
Ohhh boy---a "love" shower!!
Saint, you know we love you, and want only the VERY best for you!
Sending you some love, hugs, prayers, peace, wisdom, contentment!
Praying for your medical team too!! And your whole family!!
Here's some big love!!

A hand full of love coming your way!!!

His word is magnified by LOVE

-
Saint,

from my in-box:
Saint;
I have followed your beautiful friendship and bond with Debbie with much adoration.(Debbie will tell you who I am!) I, too, had a wonderful friend to share the cancer journey with and know what a blessing you must be to each other. God is watching you, crying with you, hurting for you and holding you in his embrace. May you feel that strength and love as you process the "what next" on this bumpy road. I will pray for strenght and courage for you and those you love and that love you back "as tall as heaven".
