Saint and Saint's daughter,
Thank you for the extra good bit of extra good news!! Faith has sure been on my mind, it's so good to get some news.
BTW: Been somewhat delicate of late and "snowed in", so walking trip to the post office has kept being delayed re Saint's daughter's "little for Scotland parcel" sooo since I am silly late, please feel free, either of you to pm me with anything specific you might want from England, and I will just add it in? If you think of anything, do ask. I hope to be walking or driving into town next week as snow is melting today.

AWESOME NEWS!!!! Sooooooooooo glad to hear our sistah is doing so well, thanks for another update Saint!!!

Those two (Saint and Faith) are just too much .... I walk in the door from work and call Saint so I can find out news of Faith and post here. So what did she tell me? That she had already posted twice since this morning! I swear the two of you (Pat and Debbie) just pass energy back and forth to make each other stronger ... may it ever be so! And I hear Faith is hoping to post in here herself soon ... but not sure whether this thread or another, forgot to ask that part. Anyway, I'm glad I got to have a short chat with my girlfriend, and thrilled that my other girlfriend is doing so well initially. Love you both.
-
AWESOMW news, Saint!......
By the way, my glasses have a prism in them and you can't even tell.....I had a problem with double vision from an eye injury along time ago.....I totally forgot I had them in my glasses til it was mentionted about your "special" glasses.......Good luck and hope you feel better soon...... -
It was so good to talk to Saint today.
Such a blessing.
Blessing, gift from heaven.
She is so grounded in her vantage point of life & living.
I have done all I can to learn from the master -- and it certainly came in handy today.
love all of you for combining your prayers to include the two of us.
-

Saint's daughter, now it's just a couple of "do das" to make the parcel a bit more fun, so no fretting. Do let me know when you receive it, God willing it will be out in the week.
BTW: he he Hollyann, the choc's already in there!
I am so grateful to come on here and find you "up" and just getting on with another blessed day.

copied from the other thread:
Saint has perfect timing -- as always.
I was being discharged from the hospital right after noon. I went to put on my wedding ring and it wouldn't fit and I had a fit.
Right that minute Saint called.
Seeing her name in the caller I.D. I knew I was "safe" -- that I could express my every nasty, complaint, and irrational emotion.
She was having a tough moment right about the same time, accepting yet more compromises upon her life and abilities.
So we cried.
Then we remembered a few funnies. And we laughed.
Then I cried some more.
About loss and about life and about living with loss in the midst of life.
We realized that it's the atavin that's keeping me pieced together and that I have ALWAYS been a 'crier' and that Saint is just now allowing herself -- at year number 10 since intitial diagnosis to have some tear time.
I so want to click my heels and go spend a week there. I miss her.
We talked about our "God Work" and what we have left to accomplish.
We cried some more.
She was going to go take some Xanex and go over to dinner at her sister's. Their college man gets returned to campus tomorrow.
More tears.
Gosh it's good to cry it out. I said something about tears washing your soul clean and we laughed the hardest we had all afternoon.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
We whined about living so far apart from one another.
-
Faith, Glad you and Saint connected, as usual just a the right time, and sounds like the tears, did a good theraputic job, especially interspearsed with some real and some funny truths.
Now remember ladies to replenish! when you cry you need more fluids! What ever you can get away with with all those meds! deaaaaaaarrrrry me, that must not be much!
You may be far away in miles now Faith, but with the connection you have with Saint, if you close your eyes and breath in, smile, you can cross those miles in a second and feel Saint's hug I am sure.
Take good care. I must have missed it but I have read someone said that the prisim glasses were helping, thank God. Hope you can both do some quality resting.
nighty night

(((((Faith))))) + (((((Saint)))))) = True Friendship
Sending you some flowers to cheer up your day.
Hugs
Sheila♥
-
Saint, hope the 'makeup' dinner was fun ... sorry the dear boy has to go back to school, but isn't it great knowing how well he adjusted there?? Hugs to you and to Faith ... and keep all the channeling going on - you guys know you're channeling every single one of us each time you talk to each other, right? smooches
-
(((((Saint and Faith))))).........Tears are the way the soul cleanses itself......Oh my I started a NEW page!...LOL...
-
P.S. Saint doesn't have the new prism glasses yet.
We are hopeful that they will be helpful upon arrival -- but that's still future tense.
What have I done to deserve such a friend as Saint.
The great good news is that we all share that friendship.
She's been knocked down so often. She's been blown flat..... but the woman has the heart of an angel and an angel committee of dozens and galore that keep her afloat -- even thru the worst of it all.
We need to rain down our prayers on her -- in the midst of these most recent compromises. Further limitations, due to sight restrictions are no doubt maddening as well as frightening.
I feel perclempht for needing your support when Saint is in such need, but will trust you can pray the two of us into this day at hand..... because prayer is powerful stuff.
Much love to all the saint-sisters and Cinderella, too.

I just had a new thought.
Here goes:
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
