Thinking Out Loud.....

Faith is in surgery now. Keep her in your prayers.
-
Good Morning.
I was thinking about Faith too. If she was on schedule 7:30 she can even be at recovery now
I had some more macadenian nuts last night. But this is the new trick, I put it in a very small bowl and I made myself believe I was eating more. Try it, It really worked.
-
Maybe you should use a thimble for a bowl! I just had my 10 nuts for my mid morning snack.
Would Faith be in recovery all ready? I sooooo hope everything went well.
Gotta go for my walk now. No sun but 40!
-
Faith just posted. She is in recovery.
i will take a walk little later. 1 pound gain is gone I am back where I was.
I want to get some fish for tonight, with spinach or broccoli.
-
Just got back from my walk. Good to hear about Faith. I will go and look for her post now.
Have fun walking. It's nice out!
-
Please pray for my daughter Beth who had an emergency c-section yesterday and has now developed complications. She has a condition called HELLP that can be potentially life-threatenig, it involves very low platelets. The baby's name is Adara Susan, named after me!!! Thank you all of you praying ladies.
-
Congrats Sue!! Such great news and not so great news. I will pray for your family.
-
Just sent Kbug another card. I thought that since she may not be reading our posts, she may stillw ant to know we are always thinking of you.
We miss you Susan!
Linda
-
Sue...congratulations on the new baby and what a pretty name. When I lit the candle for kbug tonight I will add your daughter too for a speedy recovery.
Linda..That was such a good idea. I wonde if she got the Christmas card. Please PM her address to me if you have it handy.

I just had 11 of those nuts. Believe me they are not that big in real life. Went hysterical when was counting and putting them in my little dish.
I got Salmon, fresh spinach, broccoli and escarole for my chicken soup.
Also frozen cut okra and baby lima beans. i love to eat all these vegetables any way. I learned portion control. Never thought the day I was going to count the nuts hahahahahaha
Filled my Femara. now the wash in the dryer so it was a pretty good day.

Hi Linda...Sue-blue posted on this page about her daughter, just read it.
Im okay. I just feel very bad about kbug. Did you see it in my writing?
I had a delicious dinner. Salmon was so good. Maybe we should plan a fishing trip. lol
-
Thanks for clarifying. I read that too but only remembered the babys name, not her daughters. Dah! I hope they are both doing well.
Yes, I knew you would be sad about Kbugs post. I am too. I just hope she is comfortable.
I LOVE to fish!! I was brought up fishing and my oldest sister is a commercial fisherman. Fishing is in my blood.
-
Imagine catching our own fresh salmon make a fire and eat it.
It can be any other fish, except I am not catching that snake looking one, is it eel?
-
Yes, it's eel. I've caight many of them. They kind of freak me out too. I cut the line when I catch them!
I fell asleep on the couch!
-
too much drink!!
Once I threw the fishing pole in the water, I was terrified, And ex got upset trying to get the pole, IM screaming like a maniac because i have never seen an eel before.......
-
Wow you gals sure keep this thread going--I'm so proud of all of you! Well I went to my oncologist and forgot to get my referral for my dexa scan--so will have to call the office.
Have been reading all of your posts and just wanted to say that magnesium will help move the bowels should you get constipated from all of that calcium! Before I got breast cancer I tried magnesium because I read how wonderful it was for our bodies and was taking 500 mg a day. Well.....that was way to much for my body because I was not taking any kind of medication at that time. After breast cancer and being the professional pill taker that I am--500 mg a day barely moves my bowels! You can google magnesium and see all of the benefits you receive from taking it.
Keep this thread going everyone--I am glad the day I was THINKING OUT LOUD and started this post.
Love Ya,
Terry

The Stage 1b is because I had IDC 6mm and they graded the DCIS 7mm and on the path report it says T1b, maybe because it was over 5 mm.
-
Good Night All!
-
Thanks for posting again Terry and for starting this thread. We have fun here and silly conversations. Thanks for the info on magnesium.
Sheila, I did not drink last night, I think the kids just wiped me out!! There's always tonight!
Thanks for educating me again, Dr. Deb. Have fun tomorrow! I wish I lived closer and wasn't a wimp!!
For Kbug, lalalalalalallalalalala lalalla lalala lalalalalaaaaaaaaaa

I need to spend my time walking today because temptation took over last night.
The little dish was full of MN. If it wasn't from my daughter I would throw it in the garbage. They are so good.
Hi Rumoret, yes we really like this thread because we can be ourselves.
Deb...What are you doing today?
Singing for kbug lalalalalala lala lalala..........

Good Morning,
I am leaving soon to have my hair colored the white is starting to show. It's funny, around my temples whent my roots start to show the hair is white not grey then it's salt and peppered through out with patches of white. I wonder what I would look like if I let it grow out?
Its 11:35 and 42 degrees in MA, we are having a heat wave, LOL.
Terry,
I love this thread you started.
-
Hugs to Sue and her daughter♥ I pray for a speedy recovery also♥
Hugs and thinking constantly of Kbug♥

I am trying to take a few deep breaths... Beth's numbers are improved some today, but still at only about 1/4 of where they need to be. The liver enzymes are high and the platelets are low, it's called HELLP. Thank you so much for praying I love everyone here. Baby Adara is beautiful!
-
Thanks for the update Sue!! I hope things continue to improve! Give the baby a kiss for me!
