Coonie and I just had THE most delightful dinner (and afternoon.)
We have evidence that we are "WINNERS" but you'll have to wait till I can download the pictures to prove it. What a blessing to meet our own Cooniest.

hope you are having fun (and beer!)

Hi Faith! I hope you're having fun with Coonie! Don't forget you have work to do too! If I remember correctly, you fly home this evening. Please tell your DH he's under orders to spoil you rotten all day Thursday. Lots of calming delights to relax you for Friday. I'm thinking bubble bath, DH washing your hair, chocolate, candles... Whatever floats your boat. Here come the vibes ~~~~~~

You already knew that our Coonie was special. Well, she's extra-super-duper-superlative-brilliantly-kind and special........ all rolled into one.
I probably could have made it thru the day without her generosity of spirit, but it was just so comforting to have her in the room, running errands, vending, hauling, planning, reminding, laughing, directing.
They had to go get additional chairs for the space we were in -- you'll have to get her to attempt to describe it, kinda airplane-hanger-esque.
It was a glorious day & I'm so glad that I pushed myself to come.
Now I have to adapt from having spent ALLLLL that adrenaline yesterday and fly back across the world to home. My hubby will be there when I get home. He's on the road half way there already.
I'm seriously behind around here, but will attempt to get caught up on my phone (which takes forever)

Coonie & I both had "Acme Poopas" for dinner last night. I kid you not. The description sounded perfect but the meal was exactly what we each needed. I should have taken a picture of the menu!
Now to fly home and face reality. I'd rather continue this road show to acclimation and FAME, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!

Safe travels Faith! I'm soooooooooo glad you had such a wonderful time...still holding you up in prayer...

Copied from the beach thread!
Faith is an amazing lady!!! I'm soooo very blessed to have met her!
Greaaaaaaaaaaat Gooooogaaaaaaaaaaaa Moooooooooogaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
And that is an understatement!!!!!
Ok, well....I knew meeting Faithie would be really special, but.....is there a word better than special?? Woooonderfuliioushly superbbbaaaallllyyyy terrificiously altogether....well, just wondermous!!!
Louisiana was in awe of her presentations too. Huge convention center with hundreds and hundreds of teachers....teachers EVERYWHERE!!! Bright green bags everywhere!!!
We were in this huge ballroom before the first session started. I'm thinking......sure are alot of chairs in here. Well, they started piling in.......and piling in......no chairs left.....people sitting on the floor......then tadaaaaa.....chairs being wheeled in from the back. They were filled too.
The ballroom next door was a little jealous of all the enthusiam next door.....some were just passing through on their way to another session, heard Faithie speaking and decided to stay there!!! The convention center custodians were even bragging on her!!! Everyone was in awe........people going through the halls singing "Tall Giraffee".....
Sooooo.......it looks like our Faithie hasn't seen the last of Louisiana. They're already wanting her again next year!!!
Wowzers!!!!!!!! Just makes me sooooo very proud!!!!
We thought of you all often. The only thing that could have made this trip any better would be if all of you were there too!!!!!
(((((((((((((((((((((((Faithie)))))))))))))))))))) Safe trip home!!! Rest! Sleep! Pills!! .......LOL
Prayers continuing to get Faithie home TONIGHT safe and sound!!!!!!

Fingers and other assorted body parts that can be crossed are crossed here. Safe journey Faith.
Gentle hugs.

Faith,
Very glad you had a great time. You know I am in awe of you, because of all your achievements. Hope the trip home is safe and uneventful (ok, so I guess you had to get off the plane, so maybe not uneventful) and you have a relaxing day tomorrow.
Hugs to you Faith and I will be praying for you.

I am home, in my house, in my bathrobe, catching up with my friends.......
Could there be a more blesssed life?
My adventure of travel conundrums was certainly worth all of the Louisiana LOVE that I received.
There could be no one more considerate, kind and hardworking than our very own Coonie.
She helped haul stuff, and did the heavy lifting (literally) and acted as photographer, ticket taker, cheerleader, and maternal watcher. She reminded me to take my 'happy pills' to stay on a steady keel -- instead of waiting till I needed them.
So today. Here's my plan.
Sit in my bathrobe for hours on my cozy leather loveseat and play on my computer, getting caught up here, on FB and my blog --- which is soooooo far behind.
May eventually get a shower before DD & the WonderPeeps come here for a bite of dinner. They are to stay just long enough for me to hug them and have some peep-laughter.
Then early bedtime for me.
All prayers generously received with gratitude.
I am blessed to have your support.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Confirmation for 7:30 a.m. surgery, reporting for duty @ 6:00 a.m.
Need to leave the house just after 5:00.
My dear husband will need his cup of coffee. LOL.
Your prayers and support mean the world to me.
I'd just like to get on with the show -- at this point.
DD brought the 3 grand-peeps over for dinner tonight.
Chasing them was certainly the highlight of the day.
Love to each and every one of you!!
