-
Good Morning♥
-
So far so good. I even found myself! Any luck for you??
-
Im not found yet. Coffee still in my mug.
Im very frustrated because family and one friend think I have to have the answer for their problems.
To be continued.......Im running away after my coffee and disappear.
Sorry Im in a very slapping mood right now
-
SLAP!!! Tell them you can't solve their problems, you are too busy solving mine!
-
I need to go away somewhere where nobody can find me today.
I dont mind doing it but it almost becomes my responsibility to do all these stuff and I dont like to be pushed like that.
-
Hang in there~
-
Makraz: The coffee/tea was terrible! Memory is shot also! See my oncologist for my 4 month checkup--should have seen him in December but had to cancel and then he canceled. I am going to ask him about the Arimidex aches and he should give me a referral for Dexa Scan. So much fun--really dislike the month of January due to Fog.

February and August are my least favorite months. I have my mamos and MRI and WORRY BIG TIME!!!
What is a Dexa scan?
Linda
-
Rumoret can give you more details.
Its bone density test, I know it because had to ask someone last month.
-
Thanks Sheila.
-
Im becoming PA on these Boards. i learned so much and not even all related to BC.
-
I am dreaming.....................
-
What is PA??? Remember, I suffer from CRS.
-
Physicians Assistant.
-
Oh yes, you would be a goon one. I think I could get a career in the medical field too! Sometimes I think i know more than the doctors.
-
Most of us on these boards have knowledge of lot of things. Tomorrow I will ask my PD for a
Vitamin D test or maybe I should wait until March when I see my oncologist.
Want to watch NCIS at 8 but will leave the computer on so I can check during commercials if kbugs daughter updated us or not.
-
You should get the vit d check asap so you can adjust your levels if needed. I'm amazed at how much better I feel since I've started taking it.
-
Is there different tests? Or Vitamin D is the name of the test.
Did you have any symptoms if yes what were they/
This way I can exaggerate if he says I don't need it.
-
It's a regular blood test. I had my cholesterol checked and the dr. ordered a full blood anaylsis. That's when I discovered I was deficient.
Do they normally take blood at your apt? Tell them you want everything checked since you lost weight, you want to make sure your cholesterol is okay etc.
-
What's a PD?
My Onc orders the bone density test and she orders the Vit D, I wonder what test is next? My PA-C does the cholesterol and Thyroid, I have an appnt for that in March. Onco appt the 22nd of this month, I'm taking the whole damn day off. I'll have to talk with her, I am having issues with muscle cramps and my hips hurt at night. It's tough getting old. Or it's the Arimidex.
-
Maybe you need vitamin d too, Deb! We'll find out soon.
What is a PD? Physican D???????????
-
PD is my Primary Doctor.
I go to him every 3 months checks cholesterol and liver enzymes.
Once a year which is the next visit is my annual when a complete blood work is done.
I don't think VD test is in routine blood work.
March1st I see the oncologist he also does blood work including CTM (Cancer Tumor Marker)
Linda.. were you feeling tired because of the deficiency?
Deb....What is PA-C.
-
I had alot of joint pain, was very tired (that's why I started the b12) and felt depressed. I still have joint pain, although better. Not nearly as tired. That part amazes me and also I am no where as depressed as I was before.
PA-C Primary A????? Care? Just guessing!
-
It's the abbreviation for Physicians Assistant Certified, her title at the end of her name is PA-C, she works with my PCP which I have never seen because I don't want a paps by a man, I know that does not make sense cause when I do have a problem down there, I see an OB-GYN and he is a man. Last time I went I had a small polyp on my cervix and had it biopsy then he caterized the area. That was years ago. If I start to have female problems I will ask for a female GYN not an OB-GYN.
I bought some B-12 but it is not chewable, I could not find any in Market Basket. Oh well.
I forgot they check for liver levels also.
-
Deb.....Who takes care of your anal fissures (sp)
Linda... since I dont have joint pain and not depressed because I take Antidepressants, sometimes I feel like couch potato, but it is not 24 hours a day. So what kind reason do I have for the test?
-
Me and they are all better, (I hope), no painful BM's and no bleeding. Thank you for asking.♥♥♥
-
I rarely get angry, but at this moment I listen for a minute to Susanne Somers in CNN,Joy someting , the women is a fake and very dangerous to people that have real cancer.
It felt great to scream before I changed the channel.
