WLL ~ The informational section of BCO (bar at very top) has a complete explanation.  Click on Symptom & Diagnosis, and within that section search "Blood Marker Tests."

And here's another link that gives desired ranges for the CA125 and CA27.29, the two tests most commonly used for bc:

I believe they like you to be <40, although your levels may vary a bit from test to test.  It's usually when a reading shoots up over 100 that they become concerned and want to figure out why.

    Hope this helps ~  Deanna

Edited to fix a glitch at the end of my post where it got cut off.

Ihad the CA 125 done a few months ago . Mine was 34 within normal range.  Are you having ovarian issues that necessitated the test?  I'm understanding that the CA 125 alone is not reliable, but is used with other test results to form a complete picture.

The cancer marker result was from my onocologist that was done about 7 months ago. I did go to the gyno to check a cyst on my fallopian tube--she is also doing a marker test--if high she may do a hysterectomy. I am going to have a laperscopy done for her to look and see the cyst and determine what needs to be done.
