I didn't depart over your rant Faith, not at all! Heck a good rant now and again works wonders. I just think FB isn't for me.
Hugs all you sistah Facebookers.

I have facebook for my non-BC friends. It really helped when I was in Boston and missing everyone. One friend moved to New Zealand and we play Wordtwist every day. My dirty little addiction!
It's good that that you have work and BR next week Faith -- keep your mind off Friday and make the time pass quickly. Whenever I have a treatment or scan I just want to get it over with -- better than waiting and stewing over it. This time next week you will have peace of mind and a really good painkiller buzz going -- sounds nice, eh? Yah, the surgery is a biggie, I don't mean to minimize it at all, but focus on the drugs, soft pillows, husband waiting on you (he better or else!!!).

I'll be thinking of you all week, Faith. Try to enjoy Louisiana - those folks know how to eat down there!
-
Hi, Faith -
Over the past several years, I've decided I will have a double mx if they find anything again on either one of my breasts. It makes plenty of sense to me! Hope you are hanging in there and best of luck on your surgery.
-
I have cousins in Louisiana and they know how to have a good time. Eat, drink and be merry, tomorrow is another day.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Must go get moving, get organized, get packed, get hair cut/colored.
Knowing you're here, that you have my back, will allow me to focus on what needs to get done.

Meece. I'm certainly glad that you're on my side. LOL.
Toooooo funny: pink panther.
My trip to BatonRouge,LA into the arms of our loving loonie-Coonie...... is an absolute, genuine example to me of grace&mercy from heaven. This trip & our rendez-vous has been on the horizon for months and months, seasons and seasons. Now the timing of which seems ordained by the angels.
If she hadn't planned to be there -- I'm not certain that I would go, that I could have handled it.
Thanks for the prayers & wishes dear friends.
For travel mercies at the beginning of the week and for brilliant medical efforts at week's end.

Safe journeys.
-
Safe journies indeed Faith and your decision re the bilat - very very wise - I too torched a perfectly healthy breast - after 9 months of trying to dress a lopsided rack - it was a no brainer :0 and did not have the strength for reconstruction....still on the boat though..still paddling:) Loved your toddlers and your other teachers - there are some really good people out there

Unplugging laptop #1.
Makes me feel like I have to make a permanent farewell speech.
Silly goose.
In case I forget to tell you:
Thank you & I love you!!!
At the very least I will be able to check in from my phone.
This is for my benefit this time:
strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Have a wonderful week.
When I first started someone told me to get outside, enjoy the world, and store up good experiences to get me through treatment.
So I will pass it on and wish you a great break.

Good luck the 15th-I just had it done--the left was invasive ductal--the right showed a lump which I refused to go thru more biosies--I decided to be done with both--the mri showed nothing other that what was known going into surgery--turns out 1 sentinel + on left--total 9 lymph nodes removed--the rest negative....Stage 2--
you will get through this..I also have grandchildren and my family has been a tremendous source of love....they don't know how to respond so they each handle it differently...
thankful we have each other here....the feelings and experience of all this truly can be understood/known by all who share here....
