    Hello Saints daughter...welcome, I hope you are no longer feeling the pain of the wisdom teeth pulling outs!

    Faith...hugs and prayers for you...I hope the result is nothing.

    Saint...Happy Anniversary! 30 years??? WOW. I hope you have a GREAT day as far as feeling well and as far as celebrating with the hubby.

    Happy Anniversary Saint...my prayers continue for your comfort and improvement.  Hoping your daughter is feeling better....I know when my son had his wisdom teeth removed he had started looking like a chipmunk about this time...don't worry it goes away quickly.

    Thank you for letting us know about FF.  Faith you are in my prayers for peace and calm...hang in there.

    Saint & I had the opportunity to spend a lovely chunk of this afternoon getting caught up on the phone. You'll all be delighted to know that she sounded like "Pat" today. Such a gift.

    We hit all the high points of the year together.

    They were able to go to Mass this morning and they were kind enough on their anniversary Mass to light a candle in support of me & my getting a bx this morning -- on their day. Then they were off to speak to her neurologist over this perplexing headache and the various other symptoms that have resulted.

    She has lost feeling in a great portion of her tongue. She 'feels' as tho she is 'slurring' her speech and that she has to work extra hard to speak. I can't hear any slurring over the cell phone and understand every syllable.

    Anyhow, the good news is that he feels that this may 'resolve' itself in time..... as the headaches themselves seem to be resolving. They shared a sense of humor and he offered much encouragement.

    We talked at length on how to support each other in the midst of our occaisional 'tizzy fits' and whether it's time to have a secret code word.

    We talked about how critical our 'perspective' is and how that contributes to the overall day's symptoms and pain. How important it is to have something meaningful to do.

    We talked about Christmas and husbands and gifts and professional photographs and pets and grandchildren and chaos and wisdom teeth and husbands and movies and clemintines and husbands and weight loss (she has lost between 25 and 30 pounds in the last couple months) and nutrition and bread and how she reflects on our summer adventure together and how next summer they're gonna come and pitch a tent in our little postage stamp yard, just to honk off our very rule oriented neighbors and we'll build a campfire on the porch to really get their attention and husbands and hilarious ideas about me in the kitchen............ well you kinda get the idea.

    I could start crying just thinking of what this woman teaches me. Daily.

    Saint's daughter, hello you talented star! sorry my wee package hasn't got to the post office yet!!(soon)  Glad you are on the mend from your tooth, make sure you let us know when  you are coming over and I shall have a chat to the weather man in Scotland!!

    Hope you are feeling better today.  Remember to sleep, drink and eat well to help your healing.  Saint's daughter, I hope you are feeling better from you tooth extraction.  I hated having my wisdom teeth out, all four at once.  They never would have gotten me back in the chair if they were not done together, it was no fun.

    SAINT.

    You know how absolutely crazy, nuts we are about Buckeye football. You know how we are irrational for our Bucks.

    Well, we just won the Rose Bowl!!!!

    I know it's a bit dingy to extrapolate from this win anything beyond football, BUT I'm taking this for the wonderful talisman of guidance and a proverb about being the under-dog. All those bits that we talk about all the time.

    We are sooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I LOVE to see the under-dog win. Especially when it's us. LOL.

    Can't wait to talk to you about how grown up I'm acting. More laughing.

    I don't know why people pay thousands of dollars to get their teeth taken away, but I suppose it's for the best. We had quite the scare this morning when I felt a stitch floating around in the middle of my mouth. Turns out the doctor put dissolving stitches in and there is nothing to worry about. LOL

    Big Brother turns 19 tomorrow! I am sure I was told what our plans are, but I was very very very medicated..haha! Whatever we do, it will be with joy and thanksgiving. I'm happy for these little pockets of time that my family has together and I'm happy that my mother has such supporting friends as all of you. 

    The sun is out, the sky is blue! It's beautiful, and so are you!!
