Hair Loss and Taxol

Did you loose or gain hair during taxol? I heard it grows back during the taxol part?

    Hi, Jen; mine did not grow during Taxol.  I had twelve sequential weeks of TH following AC.  My first hair was the fine fuzz that isn't real and doesn't last, about 6 to 8 weeks after the last Taxol I stopped wearing the wig.  

    I didn't lose any more during the Taxol--it was as gone as it was going to get by then!

    I started getting a few straggly hairs toward the end of taxol.  I didn't lose my eyelashes on A/C but lost them after the 2nd taxol.  Will you be getting it weekly?  I hear the side effects are much easier on the weekly doses.

    As you know, I started with taxol first (weekly).  Sorry to say my hair was gone after 3 weeks.  I've got fine hair growing on AC, though.  Like cbm said, it may not be real, but I'm glad to see anything growing on my head!

    My head hair started growing on T, but my eye hair all fell out! Go figure....

    Mine grew back between ac and taxol but then fell out again and didnt start growing til I was done done.

    My hair started coming back on Taxol, but my eyelashes and eyebrows fell out almost as soon as I started.

    My hair fell out during a/c,but eyelashes eyebrow came out more during taxol.I finished Oct.6.Eyebrows are back,eyelashes are back,and getting longer,chin hairs,etc.I'm coloring my hair next week,it's short short which I hate,but I hate the gray more.

    My hair fell out during a/c but I didn't lose my eye lashes until taxol, then they grew back and I lost them again...head/body and facial hair grew back within a month of taxol ending...lots of hair on my face at first...we called it the blonde monkey look...back to normal soon enough
