1) I am receiving the "life does" of the a drug in AUX. Is that normal?

2) What drug do you receive with taxol or is it just taxol?

3) I am preparing for taxol by taking b-6 and b12-those are the 2 vitamins that help with neropothy-correct?

Thanks for your help!!!

My onc told me to take LGlutamine and B6 with taxol - I didnt get any other drugs.

I think by life dose you mean you can no longer have any more - I think I had that with Adrimacin.  Think it is the norm.

My onc stressed B-6 with taxol.  Had a little numbing on my left foot...but small and it went away.  I had also asked him about curcumin with taxol and he wanted me to take it.  Studies have shown that taxol works better when you are taking curcumin, I think.

Lifetime does mean once you've had it that's it,  you can't have it again.  The Adriamycin, which I had, is one of the drugs that is a one time deal because of the damage it can cause to the heart. I'm not sure about Taxol, but they didn't tell me anything about it being a one time deal so I'm guessing IF I needed it down the road it could be something considered, but........... I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Jenn3 - No, no, no - not "cross that bridge when I get to it" but instead "cross that bridge IF you get to it."
