I just found this site and I really like it. I thought I'd introduce myself just a little. Smile

I'm 39 and was dx in Nov 2007. I had 15 of 18 nodes positive, had a mastectomy, no reconstruction, I did chemo, radiation (given, I know), oopherectomy, Herceptin and now on Arimidex and Aredia.

I live in CA. I am married to my high school sweetheart (18 years), have two little ones ages 3 and 5. We have strong faith in God, it's what has gotten me through such a dark journey. I started working out over a year ago and am now an avid runner. I am doing a 1/2 marathon in Feb.  I feel pretty good most days. I eat super healthy and take tons of supplements. I'm curious to know what ya'll take too.

Anyway, that's me. How about you?

Our situation is pretty similar-I was 36 at diagnosis with a 5, 7, and 9 year old (one on the way)

I eat super health, juice, wheat grass and no marathons but I do tris(sprints only:)

I ah highly er and pr pos  her 2 neg. I am half way through chemo and my blood work has been perfect. I believe it is b-c of the juicing I am doing and of course the wheat grass.

Welcome to our stage 3 group!!!!

I am gald to see you hit 2 years this past November. I sooo look forward to that day.

Hi Daisy,  I'm another California person.  I'm 4 years out now.  I was reading that you have become so healthy and been running.  Good for you!  I'm taking vitamin D, drink green tea, take CoQ10, use Benefiber, eat fiber cereals (mostly Fiber One), take vitamin B complex, and of course my meds, Femara and Celebrex. Also, I eat prunes and drink pomegranate juice for antioxidants.  It's nice to see all these ILC ladies meeting here and getting so healthy.  You guys will help me stay healthier, too.

Hi Daisy!  I was diagnosed almost 4 years ago (at age 42) when my son was 8.  Now he's almost 12 and I'm noticing some preteen attitude!  Nice to meet you!

Hi Daisy - nice to meet you.   I am 43, two girls 26 & 18, dx 06/2009, Bilat, recon to follow later, finish chemo this week, move on to rads - because I'm triple negative I won't be taking any medication once I finish chemo.  I have worked on cutting out processed foods, adding more vegetables to my diet and when possible walk, walk, walk.  Prior to BC I had already started buying humanly treated eggs and meat w/o antibiotics and harmones, which I'm still doing.    Once I finish chemo I will be joining the gym to get myself back into shape.............
