sit with me...waiting for a biopsy report
Hi sisters...need a little hand holding...LOL.
I had core biopsies yeterday of my "good"breast after having some changes on my annual mammo followed by MRI.
I have been calmly reassuring myself that all will be ok...but am getting spooked about the whaol Deja vu experience of yesterday. I know all the right answers to all my fears but am still on edge...
I hate breast cancer...it sucks!
Talk me down...a t least wait it out with me...

Mary, I am here everything is going to be fine, I had a scare not to long ago with my good breast. It was just a few cysts, the doctor removed them during my reconstruction so we would have it pop back up again later. I will be praying for you.
-
I'm holding your hands................. and waiting with you.
-
Holding hands here, too!!!!! I go tomorrow for my first mammo on my good breast since all this started. NOT looking forward to that!
-
Maryanne,
I am here too. I also have had a few scared in the "good" breast. All my scares ended up ok. We all freak out over this crap! I hate it too. Before my last scare I was actually planning how to tell people in my family and even looked at my calendar to see when I would have to have surgery in relation to the holidays. Of course, it turned out that none of my worrying was needed.
It never leaves us, does it? Hoping that all is well. Make sure you let us know as soon as you can.
-
Hope you do Ok tomorrow Nelia.
Good to hear the good scare stories, Carol and Diana.
I am sure the docs are extra-twitchy with any changes once we have had BC...hope thats all anyway.
Path reports here can take 2- 3 weeks so it may be a long sit....lol.
-
Having a seat with you Mary-Anne. We are here, always. You know they are being extra careful..and that's a good thing.
Hugs!!
-
Hey Fighter girl. right with you. I had scare with my " good " breast way back too.
Take a deep breath and don't go there. Also, what's up with 2 week path reports, it doesn't take that long for a pathologist to analyze a specimen.( Her testing does take abit longer) Push for a faster response from your doc.
Blessing and prayers!

Mary,my doctor said that they will check for any and all changes in the breast after bc dx, even if it looks like nothing they will check for something. I know how you feel, waiting just sucks. I think mine was 5 days but it seemed like an eternity. I was like you looking at the calender, timing out the bc process. By the time I got the call I was so angry, just mad that cancer was running my life once again I guess. Now I have an unbumpy good boob, I hope all of my scares are behind me now. I am sure that the doctor is just being extra careful, and just wants to make sure everything is OK.
-
Aw, Mary-Anne, I hate to think you'll have to go through this again. But we're here for you, holding your hand and wishing/hoping it's not anything to worry about.
-
Right here with you, Mary-Anne! We'll hope they are just being overly scrutinous!
Hugs
Bobbie

Oh, Mary-Anne, Keep the boxing gloves on. We're all here waiting, too. We know too much; that makes the waiting harder. I agree with others, they're being very, very careful with you now, and that's a good thing. Let us know, we're here.... HUGS!
-
Mary-Anne - wishing you well. I think they really are just overcautious now we have a "history". But, any way you look at it, going through this is no fun.
I'll pull up a chair in the waiting room too. We are all here for you.
-
Im here too - holding tight. Stuipid cancer.
-
I'm here too. It's not me that I have bc, but my mom, but I feel one of you. I feel all your concerns, I share your thoughts and anxiety and I'm trying to help my mother through you. Mary-Anne, we are stronger than cancer is!!!
-
Thoughts and prayers are with you tommorow. We have either been there or one day will be there.
GoGo is right -your bigger then cancer. You can do this no matter what the results.
