Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Good one apple and only one letter between p and r in the alphabet.
Saint, don't race your pacing.

Gentle hugs and prayers for strength.
-
As usual, I think there's profound insight here.
It seems to me that could be the chapter of a book -- or perhaps the title.
"Pacing vs. Racing: The Rest of the Story."
Exhale.
Glory, Hallelujah.
Walk with amazement into this new season at hand.

Just had the greatest, greatest phone conversation with our saint.
She is so very, very happy.
She reported they had just now returned from the perfect day; church this morning -- then a drive down to Rockford for lunch, the mall and a concluding stop for ice cream!!!!
She reports that she's feeling like she's turned a big corner.... She's just now beginning to tolerate 'whole meals' instead of bites.
I did chide her about "pacing" and we both laughed at each other. Pacing?? What's that?? LOL
She is just now beginning to allow herself to feel the craziness of this amazing chapter.
She said it was the perfect day of relaxation and laughter
We both agreed that her DD & DH must be exhaling for the first time in weeks.
She just kept repeating, "it was the perfect day."
She wondered out loud if people "believe" her story -- that it is nearly tooooooo amazing to be true. She said that more than a few people from the hospital have called in disbelief.
Such an amazing conversation.
Maura she is so looking forward to speaking with you in person. She feels like she is finally getting some stamina.
Strength and courage, indeed!!!!!!! -
Saint is Our Christmas miracle, God bless
You and Faith if you need a third watch person
I will be glad to do it for someone like Saint.
God bless You Saint, prayers are still coming

Lots of love, sistah. Lots of love.
(How'd the closet explosion turn out?? Did you pace yourself or tackle the whole thing?)
-
What a wonderful, wonderful Christmas present! Saint knew just what this board neaded for a perfect holiday! Her family must be so happy! I know we are!
-
OOOOps. Put the wrong post on the wrong thread.
Fa, la, la, la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
-
Just off the phone with Saint. Our "Monday" call.
All is well with her, though Monday's have always had their own unique challenge, as her family head's off to school and she is left to fend for herself at home.
So we caught up about the upcoming holidays and preparations there.
One note of sadness is that their furry friend, Scooter, kitty-cat-of-love for 15 years, did indeed pass at the end of last week. Saint is taking this milestone in stride and spreading her love to their remaining three pals of four legs.
She is searching for "protein" that is appealing.
She is hopeful to get back to the internet, but sitting w/computer is not comfortable in the least.
She'd been out this morning on a coffee date with a beloved fellow Stage IV sister from there.
She's actually thinking of how on earth she might be able to find-a-job/generate some income and is considering selling some goodies thru EBay.
She thanks everyone for their continued support & prayers.
Her phone's been crankie (as has my computer.) LOL: technology.
She's planning a very simple Christmas celebration and had already socked away Christmas presents this time last year, when there were such good sales.
They finished the guestroom closet make-over last night -- after her all day on the road journies and my head is swimming with everything she accomplished this weekend.
Sends hugs to each and everyone in need.

Great to know you Sistahs got your Monday call in. Sorry about your dear Scooter Saint. Gentle hugs.
-
Just a quick stop to let you know you can ALL train for the Olympics!!!
BTW----I have found that the more I do the more I CAN do! So raspberries to you nay sayers!! LOL
It was the right time for the fur-face---we never felt more "right" about a last ride than this time--it was the ONLY time be was ever taken in the car & didn't barf----sorta tells you something--he's next to my old garden.........
I need a few hours to catch up on the other thread-gonna go do some of that now.
I continue to marvel at the amazing gift I have received...HUGS all!
be well & stay strong
-
Saint, I am continuing to imagine white light surrounding you....you are amazing!!! I am saddened by the loss of your kitty. I lost my 18 year old kitty too, earlier this year. It is our job to see that our cherished pets find peace. Keep on being exactly who you are.
-
((((Saint)))), your 'raspberry' comment gave me a giggle. Love ya Sistah.
-
((((Saint)))) It's soooooo wondermous to see your post!!
I'll be your water girl for the olympics

-
what a gift for us all. So much hope and inspiration.

Set back.
Pat just called me from the hospital.
She is being admitted as I type.
She is running a high fever and feeling a great deal of "weakness."
Her lunch date drove her to the hospital instead.
She is working very hard to be upbeat about this reality.
They think it's quite possible that she has an infection.
Saint is guessing that it may be a mystery that elludes a name.
She is focused on the fact that their scaled-back family had a perfect day on Sunday..... "no one can take that away from us. We will always have had that perfect day."
It's time for another round of prayers, light, encouragement and support.
Please pray for her family, who like Saint have been so very up lately, only to have this setback. It is such a challenge to know what sort of 'expectations' to have for the day.
As always, she is in a 'one-day' mindset. Today is the hospital.
