    Hi PureE-- Wallace is right off I-40 between Raleigh and Wilmington. I did all of my treatment and surgeries in Wilmington. The care I received was great and the doctors taking care of me were all great!

    well I am happy to see you doing well as our diagnosis are the pretty similar:) I have IDC though....

    How old were you when diagnosed ( sorry if that is too private:)))

    I am doing well considering everything that has happened. I don't mind telling you at all that I was 40 years of age at diagnosis. My kids were 12 and 7. I just wish it had been found sooner. It was a pretty rough time for us. My mother was diagnosed with cancer 12 weeks before me and I was trying to take care of her and then my husband, who was 41, had a heart attack while I was having my third chemo treatment and had to be airlifted to the hospital and into emergency surgery. I felt so sorry for my children and for what they were going through. However, we are doing fairly well now and I thank God for every day we have! It was HIM that brought us through all of this!

    I live east of Wake Forest, north east of Raleigh. My Oncologist is Margaret Deutsch at Cancer Ceter of North Carolina at the North Raleigh office. She was recommended to me by two people and I would recommend her to anyone.

    I agree-that would be great!!!! We go to Wilmington quite often.

    Thanks PureE! I look forward to celebrating my third year cancerversary. I would love to meet up with you and mrscrj and we could celebrate together! Wilmington has a lot of great places to eat. Please keep in touch and let's plan to do that soon!
