Thanks ladies! We made it through the photo shoot with minimal goofying around on son's part and minimal glaring on my part, LOL. It was fun experimenting with the lighting. PureE, I went through chemo in 2006.
Yes, my hair is long and I'll admit to you ladies that I'm kinda vain about it.

I LOVE it!!!! And I'm copying it, too, baby!! There's a great rock behind my house next to the golf course, and I wanted to get a picture of us taken next to it, but I didn't think of using lights! I'll post it when we do it.

So funny, I am going to copy it too! I have already done this years photo, but i am so doing this next year!! The lights are such a fantastic idea.

Copy away! I did some reading about lighting and white balance. Make sure the camera you use has a shutter speed and aperature that can be adjusted and USE A TRIPOD. You'll have to hang around for dusk and a bit later and take a gabillion pictures...but we had a blast doing it. I can't wait to see them!
