Loving it! You look wonderful and healthy.

Hey - you look fantastic! Look how long your bangs are. I love your colour.
-
love that hair! you look great Mary!
-
Hairstylist cut my bangs this last time - freaked me out a bit! That was my 4th haircut but first time she touched the top - gulp.
I colored it dk reddish brown last night - Joe calls it my "winter coat" :-)
-
BEEE UTS TIFUL !!!!!
-
I used to go redder for winter too....looks nice and rich. I think you have a good stylist!
I haven't had mine cut yet - it is so super curly that it seems to be growing up rather than down. i am just letting it grow out as much as I can. I still startle myself sometimes when i catch my relection - I still "picture" myself with longer, straighter hair! Not knocking it though - just happy to look vaguely normal again!
-
Love it-you look beautiful!! Thanks for sharing and giving us something to look forward to.
I can't wait to be there. I'm still doing Taxol, but have fuzzy dark hair growing back ......... I was told it would be gray and it may very well look gray as it gets longer, but right now it's very dark......
-
oh my gosh.. i love it.
so thick and full. mine is still soooooo short but i can wear it naked so to speak.
-
Thanks!
Jenn3 - I was diagnosed right around the same time as you a year earlier so by next thanksgiving you will be looking for hair ties!
Kerry and Mary(Apple) - It feels good to go naked and unnoticed right!?
-
Mary, you look awesome! Love the color and style.
-
Wow!! You do have a great head of hair! You look fab and healthy!!

Super cute..... How long does it take before you hair fows to a point you don't look like a cancer patient? My hair didn't completly come out so I have like charly brown spikes sticking out in between the bald areas.
-
Mary - you look great!! I love your hair!!
-
here is a time line - finished chemo in Nov. 08
March 09 (above)
April 09 (above)
May 09 (above)
July 09 (above)
Aug 09 (above)
Thanksgiving 07 (pre bc diagnosis - that 6 months later)
-
Oh, my goodness, you look fabulous!!!
-
i thinks it's amazing how good people look in short hair. i like seeing the bone and head structure unconcealed by the drapery of long hair.
-
I dont think I will grow mine long again.
-
Thanks for posting the pics Mary. I especially love the bangs. So pretty & feminine. I only have about an inch of hair but full head coverage.
Does anyone have any hair growing tips? I am taking biotin and selenium and started nourishing my scalp with my aloe vera plant. Yeah, I am impatient. Never did get over losing my long locks. I was around 14 the last time I had short hair. So, I don't have a clue what to do with short hair.
Kerry- I still get startled when I see my reflection too. Still expect to see a reflection of what I used to look like.

Lookin good!
-
Mary - I remember you posting that photo of you in March, and thinking you had so much hair! I was of course bald as a coot at the time. Its all relative, right.
My husband actually loves being able to see my shouldline and my jaw line. he says if I do grow it long again i have to remember to wear it up a lot. When i do look at old photos hair does hide a lot.
-
love the pictures.
i have kept my hair short since chemo. i like it so much better and prior to chemo i never would have thought.
you look great***
-
You guys are so good for my ego! :-)
-
I just posted similar shots on the Chemo Before, During and After-Hair, hair, hair thread. Shows me from the shave day which was 3 weeks pfc up until 3 months post shave.
-
You look fabulous!
-
You look GREAT! And give us HOPE!
-
You look great! The color and cut is so flattering one you. And what a beautiful family you have.
-
I love your hair it looks great, I have kept my short since it grew back in. Sometimes people say don't worry it will grow back and I say, it is and has grown back, I just keep getting it cut. Funny how much it bugs you after it grows in lol.
-
Thanks!!!
I like my short hair, I like it to look more edgy than cute. My younger daughter and father both do not like the color but everyone else seems to! I think I would like it to be a bob but we will see....
-
I'm aiming for a bob myself!
-
I agree, you look great with short hair!
I had tons o' hair before chemo and now I look at those old shots (not often) and think, holy I had so much hair, where's my face?
Edgy! That's the best way to describe your new do.
I don't know what to do about the post chemo uncontrollable curls I'm growing. If I grow a bob, I'm thinking it will be out and up...I will post a pic soon and stop hiding behind my dog's curls.
