Facial Hair!

OMG I cant take how much hair I have on my face!  I always had to wax my mustache and uni-brow, and a few stragglers on my chin.  But this is crazy!  I have about a dozen chin hairs and they are still coming!

They are popping up about 3 times as fast as the hair on my head is growing.  I am constantly plucking.  I fear soon I will need to shave.

    i used my husband's electric shaver.. it seems the hairs quit all that growing after a while.  i looked at myself in the sunlight once and saw white hairs ALL over my face, even on my eyelids... so i just shaved them and all but a few have stayed away.

    so your hair is growing huh?

    I almost have enough to cover my entire head!  Happy happy joy joy.  I am wondering if the face hair will stay.  Glad yours have stayed away.  My face is covered with almost baby fine fuzz.  Just like a new born.  Hope it goes.

    there's a name for that hair and once again i've forgotten .. a lanuga, laguna..lunega..

    newborns have it, particularly those who are born just a few weeks early.

    I spent 2 yrs prior to my diagnosis getting electrolisis for some facial hair. It worked and the hair did not grow back. Phewwww.....

    NOT! After chemo it all grew back. I was mortified. Im currently back to doing electrolisis.

     I finished chemo mid July and started noticing the facial hair sometime in September, but I also noticed really long "peach fuzz" on my back as well.  I have used the cream hair remover on both, but had to do it a few times.  I have noticed that finally it has stopped coming back.  It was driving me completely nuts and my hubby had nicknamed me "Sasquatch" (spellling?) LOL, good thing that we have a good sense of humor.  Hang in there, I think it will finally stop it just takes some time.  PURE is right, I wish bc would just stop with the gifts, I can't take any more.

    That fine facial hair is coming in on me too now that my hair is growing back.  In Sept I virtully had no eyebrows, now they've grown back and while I was tweezing them I noticed that fine, "lanugo' or "vellus" hair on the side of my face.  My legs are again stubbly too.  I'm re growing hair in all the wrong places. Yep Chern, as Pure would say, BC is the gift that just keeps on giving.Undecided

    I got the facial hair too. My husband has just kindly informed me that it is still there! But, hey, hair is hair.

    My dark eyebrows are all but out, however, I noticed today looking in a magnifying mirror that I have white fuzzies around my eyebrow area and I have a few white looking eyelashes that are super short........... nasty!  Don't see anything on my face yet and hope it stays that way.   Jenn - you said it BC - the gift that keeps on giving.

    You can do something about it, or know that it will go away on its own.  (I ignored my fuzzy face).  And your head hair will probably be really lush, although  strangely colored or textured at first.  One surprise after another.

    I'm 4 years out, and going to cut my waist length curls for Locks For Love.

    Hattie, That is sweet of you to do.  I did it years ago when my Aunt had yet another recurrence, it was the only thing I could think to do to help. 

    My eyebrows are coming in almost white and sticking straight out, they look very funny.  I must say I am a site to see this last year.  You all know what I am talking about~lol

    Yeah the gift that keeps on giving, ugg.  MAKE IT STOP~LOL  Pretty please.

    i had the facial hair too; BUT...it fell out ...or rubbed off...or something...disappeared at any rate.  i was shocked when that started to come in...lol...i am like..first cancer and now whiskers***

    U R  2 Funny !!!...yep my hair is just starting to appear very bird like soft..I had my daughter check the back and then on christmas she did my make up...i can do my own but at eighteen she is an expert So what does she find..My mustache returning  GREAT !!!..i too have had it waxed for years, I was in denial at first but then had to admit and wax...I thought after my hyst in 08, it would calm down but no....
