Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Was nearly going batty yesterday, not knowing anything.

It dawned on me that I could find Pat's real-life sister thru FB. I've had this message from her actual sister this morning:

We have had a turbulent week. Don't know how up to speed you are, but Pat has been in hospital all week - enlarged spleen, blood no longer conducting oxygen - scary stuff. The docs have recommended hospice care. Our sister Roberta (FLA) and I have been on the phone daily, trying to decide whether to hop our respective planes to be at her side. Yesterday, Greg told us that IT is not "imminent" and that we shouldn't come now. ....... We are now on hold. Am suffering terrribly out of the sheer frustration of being SO far away at this time. I hope I haven't shocked you with this info.

Friends. The part I forgot to tell you this morning, in my haste is that Pat's sister, who wrote the message above is Maura and she lives in Austria -- literally a world away.

I have now also asked to be friends with Roberta in FL. (Something of Sherlock Holmes & FB)

It's such a huge avalanche of love to read the many, many ways that Saint has reached out to individuals in our community. What a fantastic legacy.

I am copying a poem that Saint wrote & posted on a poetry thread here at BCO.... it was reposted & shared yesterday by Apple, on the Stage IV thread. This is "pure-Saint" and her insight. This is the first that I have read her words. I will be reading & rereading them throughout the day. I know that those of you who read primarily on this thread would want to have this treasured writing as well.

"I waited for years for vocation. I never could figure it out. 

Something had to be coming to make my time here really count.

It came in the form of a monster. A beast infiltrated my life. 

I knew in that moment I'd found it: My new job, my God Job, my life.

So I embraced all the stuff I had studied & practiced connecting with Grace. 

I found that the Spirit is strongest when you stop looking in your own face.

I know that the powers are Present, every moment there's lessons to learn. 

I will not move on to the next plane til the lesson fulfills that deep yearn.

I'm visited daily with glory & strength comes from all kinds of things. 

My feet seem to be getting lighter as I feel myself rising-like wings!

I know in the end there'll be sadness, but I trust in my heart they will know 

that everything needed was given, I ask & He makes it so.

I firmly believe I can stay here as long as I do what I need: 

To demonstrate faith in the Father & show how his Love strengthens me."
