Let's conduct our own study on how we all got breast cancer
Comments

first time on this thread - left bc, dh sleeps on right - this is a very funny thread
-
Oh no, I'm a METS fan too!
Never had a root canal, though (in fact, only one cavity in my whole life, at age 34).
Jean Nate - check.
Catholic school uniform, knee socks, eraser dust -- check, check, check.
(Barbie, wax candy, sniffing mimeograph developer -- mentioned that all many pages/ages ago!)
Boyfriend sleeps on right, BC on my left!!!
-
being sick makes you introspetive so I KNOW what it is...holding in sneezes is the culprit- made all those nasty cold and/or flu germs go straight to the ducts where they got clogged like a big ole sinus infection!!!!!!!!!!! Then after it sat a while- BAM BC
-
Have med onc quarterly visit tomorrow at which time they will take blood.
Before BC my right arm was the easiest to find a vein so that's where they always drew blood AND that's the side I got BC on. A connection???? If so and now they take it only from the left arm, does that mean that after taking it there for 50 years I will get BC on the left? (and by then at age 100+, will I care).
Hmmmm, wonder what would have happened if they drew blood from the leg? Where would hte cancer show up then.
-
Hey had a thought (thats very rare these days) ,you know how a lot of underwear and clothing are made in china these days weeeell i recon they put some kind of chemical in the fabric of the bras and it soaks in to out boobs and THEN BOOM breast cancer . Is it a conspiracy ???
-
Have some tooth pain and can't get to dentist for a while so grabbed the Ambesol from the med cabinet, dipped Q-tip in and swabbed the area. THEN thought to look at the expiration date on the bottle: Exp 8-08!!!
Wonder how many times we've used something that expired (well not 15 months). Perhaps that's what causes BC?
-
Hey Patoo, just wanted to stop and say hi. How are you doing?
-
I think I got bc by spending so much time on bc sites.
No, wait. That was after I got bc. Nevermind.
-
I thought viewers might be interested in this power point presentation I created about the mammary tumor virus, aka the Pink Virus, and its possible involvement in human breast cancer.

Sigh,.... she did not even look at what this thread really is
I think BC is caused by being annoyed. Like when someone comes on this forum and tries to sell their product
-
new here but had to add.....sleep alone, dh left years ago, and bc showed up in my arm. what does THAT mean?
-
means darned husband probably held hand on that side when you walked together years ago.
Welcome lfant!
-
Maybe there was something to that " boys have cooties" thing we learnd as girls after all LOL
-
I got BC because I died my hair hot pink when a teenager and I own 3 hot pink coats and 3 pairs of pink shoes. Clearly I went over board on the pink and that caused the BC
-
left breast cancer, hubby sleeps on right....maybe there's something to that lol
-
Thisisme - and as girls, we are given 'pink' from birth.
JillyG, just don't turn over!
-
i have always been a right side sleeper and thats where my bc was-hmmmm theory....??
Pink was never my favorite color.....maybe that was my problem i didn't like the color so it demanded it- gues what it's NOT gonna get it...
Patoo- HEY girl
if getting annoyed is a cause I GOT IT- and this slow computer will be good for a relapse!!
Good to hear from everyone.keep on laughing, or giggling...i have to come here to get my dose of laughter...so keep it coming..
-
Bettysgirl, you got it! I was a left-side sleeper, had left-side bc.
That must be it.
Leah
-
alright already it's too quiet here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that I got BC from clutching those stupid holiday gifts close to my chest as i carried them to the counter while trying to fa-la-la and pretend that i was not a victim of holiday commercialism
either that or all the good thanksgiving food had too much soy and i was (and am still) doomed!!
-
LOL Happy Holidays!
-
I think that it was hot dogs. Whatever passes as meat has a female hormone hating chemical and that is why only a few men get BC. Note that the hot dog is considered so "safe" yet it sits there waiting to scare your hormones into making tumours.
-
worse than that!!! Good ole' Brats cooked with onions...
from all i have seen on soy and all the hidden soy, and phytoestrogens and beef and all the other stuff i just think that if it tastes good it causes BC!!!!!!!!!! I think that's why after chemo all the food tastes like cardboard cuz that's what we're supposed to be eating.
-
I sleep on my right side, but got BC on my left breast. Of course that was my larger breast, so at least it was not too noticeable when a lump was removed!
-
so if it tastes good it not only makes us fat but gives us BC!
-
yep patoo- that's my theory- if it tastes good it will either give you high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, thunder thighs or BREAST CANCER....guess what???? I have all but the diabetes so I guess i know what is next on MY to- do list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If repressed anger is a risk factor i am well on my way to recurrance----I am one bottled up bag of PO'd-------KIDS!!!!!! What WAS i thinking???????????????????????????
-
oh wait i WASN"T thinking....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hmmmmmmm, yes, I remember those PO'd at kids days. That could be a cause because we are not supposed to get p****sed at thos wonderful, thrilling little people. If you do, boom - BC!
-
anybody read the study that CANDLES can cause cancer??? (if they are parafin) Soy candles are supposed to be good (GO FIGURE!!!) Well what do you know we HAVE the answer.!!! Then we have CT scans to blame also....AND since i am obese i am doomed to have a bad prognosis!!!! Please keep all the good news coming.....
-
Oh and let me add....so many of us don't start biophosphonates until AFTER BC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ARGH
-
bumping for those who could use a little laughter; some of these are soooooooooo funny.
BTW, I'm watching The Sound of Music for the umpteenth time. Perhaps that's what gave me BC? Wonder if I should check the credits for soy products LOL!
