Thinking Out Loud.....

Yes, he is a loser. His latest wife is a year older than my DH. They make us sick!
Cold and windy here today too. I just got back from The St. Vincent DePaul thrift shop. I love going there and checking everything out. I bought several tops and a jacket and a wool blazer for myself. Jeans (Aeropostal sp?, of course) for my son and a few T shirts. All for 20.00. Can't beat that.
I have to figure out lunch now.Any plans for the day? I hope the grand(s) keep you busy!
-
Linda when the kids spent a weekend with them was that your husbands mother or the father with his younger wife.
How come I cant find places like that where i live $20.00 thats unbelievable.
I see our slapping list is growing. Maybe we should start a SLAP-BAM thread. I'm sure lots of women can relate to these. LOL
DD daughter wants me to go her house because we have no heat and it will be fixed. WE go through this once in a while, otherwise we get more than what we need.
When I was almost 7 months pregnant he started to fool around leaving me in total fear that he was dead because he didn't come home until 6 o'clock in the morning and always had this explanations. You want to believe what they are saying but you also know its a big fat lie.
He never changed or found happiness, hes still selfish miserable man. one think that he loved his children and child support was paid every month until they finished college.
I never badmouth him either. We had a quiet normal divorce 11 years later after he was gone. He left in 1980 October.
I wanted to be there for his wife now because she was very good to my daughters on the weekends when they use to go with him. When I heard she was pregnant (Didn't meet her before that) felt so bad. Because she was treated the same way I was. Anyway the baby was 7 weeks premature weighing 3lb 14 ounces. I called her and introduce myself and asked if it was okay to come and visit her, what a sweet voice on the other end of the phone. Anyway I got some cute outfits. When I got there she looked like an angel and handed the baby to me. I think i fell in love with that little face an thats how our friendship started. God Bless both of them
Thank you for reading.

That was my MIL and her husband of 25 years. They're awesome. He's a state trooper so he keeps us all in line. My kids have never been to their grandfathers house without me. They have never spent time there alone and quite frankly, I don't want them too. He really likes my youngest and tries to weasle his way into his life, bribing him. He showed up at a soccer game one day and told my youngest he would give him 10.00 for every goal he got. He got 5 goals, I wouldn't let him take the money. SLAP BAM BAM!!
That was really nice of you to take such good care of her and offer help. I don't know many people who would have done that. Perhaps your ex and my FIL are related. It amazes me that some people can be so selfish and mean to the person they are supposed to love. I don't think my FIL found happiness either. He is to busy trying to buy happiness, he misses opportunities to be truly happy with the people who (can't believe I'm writing this) love him. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family and friends. Nothing makes him happier than a new car, or an expensive bottle of wine. SLAP SLAP SLAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure you are way better off without your ex. I'm glad you've done so well for yourself throughout the years.
-
Linda... Since his racist family SLAP SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP didn't accept her because she is black I got even more upset. They were talking about me that This wasn't a normal thing to get connected to her. Some people even said how do you aloud that baby to come to your house?
More slap and Bam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said that little baby is the sister of my girls and she will grow up knowing that she has 2 older sisters and their mother who love her. She got so much love from us the mother thinks thats why she grow up and starting to gain weight because she felt the love. She adores her sisters and I am Aunt Sheila for her. I know I really am going little nuts with this subject but some how writing it makes me feel better.
He didnt even looked ay the baby at the beginning now he loves her.
-
WOW!!! In this day and age????? That's a lucky baby to have you are her two sisters. SLAP to your EDH's family!!
If my FIL ever got his wife preg, he would leave her. His 2nd wife wanted to have a baby and he told her to take a hike. SHe did and now has a 14 y.o. son. SSSSSSLLLAAAAPPPPP
-
The same thing happened to his wife. They were together for years and got pregnant, he didn't want the baby but she was too far alone. Thats why she was born as an unwanted baby.
SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
He didn't want any kids either after all he left me for his freedom and age 54 he had to start all over again. God has a mysterious way to handle things. What goes around comes around. My little angel I love her like she is my own.
-
Just got a phone call from the DR office (which I wasn't expecting it)
My test results are fine. I wanted to share this first with you my dear friends.
The comfort I get from you is priceless. Thank you
-
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to have to SLAP the doctor for not calling you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet you are so relieved!! Celebrate....maybe with some Chineese Food and Pie??I'm so happy for you!
-
Sheila, again, she is a lucky girl. I agree with what goes around comes around. My new MIL who is a year olde than me would NEVER have a baby. It would interfer with her nails, traveling, etc.
SLAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
No Slapping. Probably he called the office to let them call me.
asked the girl repeat twice just in case I misunderstood her.
No Chinese food I had it the other night and leftovers yesterday. The pie is a different story Ill take half. I'm in a mood for seafood like grilled scallops, shrimps, stuffed flounder fillet.............
And a nice glass of white wine.
Linda you know what I don't feel I did anything extraordinary. I knew she needed a friend or at this case an ex wife to listen to her. Because I understand what she is going through I was There and 1987 I got very sick. Thats another story for another time.
Whats for dinner?
-
You were extraordinary and still are! I'd like to go out to dinner with you and get any of the options you mentioned. With a margarita....wine gives me a headache.
Don't forget to tell us what happened in 1987.
I'm making steak tip cesear salad for my DH, the kids can pick what they want, which will be nuggets or hot dogs if I know them! I'll have shrimp and scallops casserole for one.
-
That casserole sounds delicious. You can have any drink you want. I can have a glass of cold beer too. I cant really drink much because it goes right to my head and get sleepy.
-
kbug.. Are you cooking dinner? Where areeeeee you?
I had frozen dinner because all day I thought had leftovers and didnt take anything out.
Im thinking maybe old age is starting to effect me. Maybe I should sing more often.
lalalalalalalalalala

Helloooo, I took awhile reading and trying to play catch up. Alot of SLAPPING & BAMMING going on. I can't think of anyone I want to slap or bam YET. lol
I was in the kitchen reading the mail and I got the most un godly dizzy spell, I had to sit down. I'm a little better now. Could it be my thyroid which is a little abnormal? I will have to call Monday if it happens again.
My sister sent me some information on a company she called for help on her morgage. Has anyone heard of www.123fixmyloan.com
I was looking at it and I kind of got a red flag go up. The want 1600 dollars to start helping her lower her rate. I don't know.
-
Singing is a good thing!
I'm impressed, Deb. You don't have anyone you'd like to slap! I have a whole list of people!
I have never heard of that company. Best bet is to check with the better business bureau.
KBUG, are you feeling OK today? We miss you!
-
Deb...Since you ask in my opinion anybody that wants money in advance I don't trust them.
Years ago I was babysitting to a little girl 2 years old, one of my neighbors, married couple, so far so good yes, one day the mother came here crying, husband left and a mortgage on the co-op
crying more to make the long story short, because she had a minor child Social Services paid a lump sum payment to the mortgage company. Maybe she can start questioning. Because I see the boys are still under 18. She has nothing to loose.
-
Deb, How are you feeling now? Maybe BP is low? DR Sheila is making housecalls. lol
-
Deb, I hope you are feeling better too. Did you eat? Dr. Linda is here to help too. Have you consulted with Dr. Google? Probably better not too. Everytime I do, I find out I am dying from a new disease!
-
Jordan only one who came . Megan thought she was going to stay over with a friend. She hadn't asked her dad or mom either. We are having popcorn.
Deb maybe it is your bp or is your ears bothering you?
-
Have fun with Jordan. My oldest went to a friends house and his frieds younger brother came to my house. Another sleepover. Keeps them happy.
Enjoy your popcorn. How are you feeling? Does the infusion make you feel??????? not sure of the right word. Just want you to know I am thinking of you.
How are you doing Deb?
-
Popcorn is a good idea because my frozen dinner didn't even reach my stomach. Starving.
Deb...You are a lucky woman to have all these DR's around you. even on the weekend.
Kbug Jordan is the younger one?
-
Yes younger one. There brother is youngest.
The meds so far not to bad. Thanks for your concern.
-
Has anyone tried Effexor? I did a couple weeks ago and Hated it. I think Imay try a half dose next week. Made me feel so sick!!
-
Never taken it. Did you eat when you took it?
-
Not Effexor, but I am on AD for the actual depression for years now.
I think thats why didn't suffer SE from Femara because of it. And I remember before the new AD came to the market, Prozac was prescribed by many doctors for hot flushes. And thats the only one it helps me.
-
I took it right before bed with crackers, as I was instructed. I fell asleep and them 2 hours later, I was up and feeling like I would throw up Never did just really nauseous. I did the same thing the next day then spent the entire day in bed and I couldn't eat. Felt really bad.
What AD are you on? I take lorazepam as needed and think that works well for me.
-
I am on Prozac.Which one is Lorazepam? Its an Anxiety pill Right?
I take Klonopine generic version DR. Linda.
Made some popcorn Im still starving. Maybe I will take out my secret supply of Hershey's
-
Yes, it's for anxiety. Is klonopine the generic for lorazepam? And yes, please pass the Hersheys!!
-
MMM candy. lol
It is getting cold here. Jordan just fell asleep. She said to get her up off couch when I go to bed. My snuggle bug lol
-
How cute!!
