Hellooooooooooooo?!
-
I think it has to be dinner for hrf and probably others. It should be an early dinner so it will be much easier to make a reservation. That time involves traffic problems on a Friday, but that isn't a big deal. I can probably make it, but if it is near Yonge I'd probably TTC.
-
Hi mke. It looks like the conversation is still on the Canadian Connection thread. We will have to get them to move over here. At least I will update this page when we make a decision.
-
Found the new thread count me in for a dinner on Yonge st just keep parking in mind.I will be comming in via the 401.
-
I just booked a train ticket to TO for Nov. 6. Yay!!
-
Mumayan, what is the parking like at the Yonge and Sheppard Keg? Any tips for us out of towners?
-
KerryMac said there is underground parking. I'll try to get the exact address and post the information.
-
Thanks. That would be very helpful. Remember, I am just a country girl coming to the big city!
-
I have made a reservation for all who are able to join us on Friday, November 6 at 5:30 .... It is at The Keg at 4841 Yonge Street (on the NE corner) in the Sheppard Centre. There is underground parking and their web site says that parking will be validated as well. The reservation is under the name "Helen" and their phone number is 416-225-2841. I know some can't join us until after 6 but we won't be ordering dinner before everyone arrives. If you haven't yet indicated that you are joining us please let me know so that I can update the reservation.
-
Thanks hrf. I can't wait!
-
I'm planning on coming, thanks for the info.
-
me too!
-
I haven't heard from KerryMac ... hope she's going to join us too.
-
A reminder to all Toronto/GTA and anyone else to join us on Friday Nov 6 - we have a reservation for 5:30ish at The Keg at Yonge & Sheppard. The more the merrier.
-
Have fun! Maybe next time I'll be able to join you.
-
bump
-
Is there much else to do around there? I'd like to go a bit early and miss the rush hour.
-
There is lots to do in that area. Yonge/Sheppard is hopping all the time. mke, you won't have any trouble keeping busy in that area.
-
I'll probably be there a bit earlier too. I'll be on the lookout for you.
-
I may be there early too - depends on whether my busy Toronto son has time to meet me or not.
-
I will also be wandering around there earlier.
-
The reservation is for 5:30 ... in the name of "Helen" ... but I'm sure they'll seat you earlier if you arrive before 5:30 I know some people can't get there until after 6 but that's ok
-
Thought I would remind everyone what we look like.
-
and that photo is one of the reasons I want to be there - to meet such an amazing looking group of women in real! I'll be the one with the grey hair - OK, the grey wig.
Now know that I won't be early on account of an opportunity to see my Toronto son. Should be on time though.
(edited to add time update)
-
I invited another Helen-Jackie she is going to try and join us she is new to the threads.
-
