Thank you ladies! I appreciate it so much. I am officially deported!! And so glad to have it gone now that it's over. Wasn't the most pleasant thing I have ever been through but it wasn't bad. And the best part- light activity for 10 days. LOL  Guess no housework for me! LOL  The BS was kidding me that I need to tell my husband I absolutely cannot cook tonight. Then she decided I couldn't cook forever! I like her way of thinking!

Thanks again!! You are the greatest bunch of ladies ever! I'm off for a bit of a nap. (((hugs))) to all of you!!!

I already cleaned up a bit because the maintenance man is coming to do several things - I am in an apartment.   The toilet seat hinge broke, sliding shower door roller broke and fell on the floor, shower head has pink mold growing on it and will be replaced by a hand held type I decided to buy, and they will put a filter on the ice maker in the fridge.

When I asked about the pink mold, they said no one else has mentioned it, although there are 400 units in this apartment complex...    It also grows in the corners of the shower stall.   For 36 years I lived in a house and never saw Pink mold. My concern is drinking the water, so I use  a Britta filter pitcher.  Ice cubes... they said no problem putting a filter on.  And when I checked my Water Pick, it also had pink mold, so I threw it out. Will use Britta water when I get a new one.   Good thing is, I have not gotten sick.

I should or could clean out more clothes - weed thru the summer stuff and donate to a good cause.  Wish I knew someone who wears 9 1/2 Narrow shoes, mostly dressy flats.   My feet hurt way too much to wear and I hate to get rid of them.  But I got many of them on clearance, as it is not a popular size.   AA and AAA width.    Comfort is my goal -

Have a great day, enjoy family and friends. celebrate deporting, relax, and NO house work.  HUGS,   Nancy

    Good morning!!

Thanks so much for the support ladies. Nobody understands the beauty of being deported like you do! Yes, I'm sore today, but not too bad. Getting out of bed took me back to my post-mastectomy days! Amazing how much you use your chest muscles to get up and out of bed. And my port was in such a ridiculous place. The lower inside edge of my right breast. OTC pain meds today and I hope that does the trick with the pain.

I saw Ms. Jayne on Facebook this morning and she is hopefully getting her last chemo right now!! If her blood work was good from yesterday. Go Jayne!!!

I hope everybody has a perfect, wonderful day!!!

I found out yesterday that a woman I used to work with, and didn't get particularily along with (in fact was my decision maker to move to this store an hour away!) has been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer and was sent home to die! They tried 2 different chemos but her lungs are so full of tumours they can't do a thing. She just found this all out in the past month. She's already on oxygen at home.....scary and frightening.

Oh---so sorry Barbe. It's even hard to hear if it's someone we don't particularly like.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone!

Not to sound disrespectful to your coworker, but will you get to move to a store closer to home now?

    Hello Dust Bunnies!

As Mary said I went for my last chemo today. My blood counts were good, so that is me finished with chemo! I realise I still have to get through the side effects, but only this one last time. Then I will be ready to start Rads.

Mary I remember how awkward it was getting in and out of bed not using chest muscles. That does seem a strange place to put your port. Hope the pain soon eases off. I didn't have a port and luckily my veins held out. Mind you I only had 6 rounds of chemo. I've never paid this much attention to my veins in my life!

Barbe I'm sorry to hear about your former colleague. I saw my brother die from lung cancer and I also wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I see OhioDeb and Julz on Facebook too. Those Dust Bunnies who are not on FB yet might like to give it a try. Or maybe not ;-)

Love to all you Dust Bunnies. I am so glad to have 'met' you all and thank each and every one of you for your friendship and support. xoxoxoxo

Jayne you're done! And with your own veins too! You done good! Laughing

Coonie, she ended up quitting when I transferred to this store. I guess no one else could stand working with her. They fired her in the end so she didn't have to give them 2 weeks notice. They were glad to see her gone too, and she was escorted out of the building! The job I have now is a promotion, so I wouldn't go back.....but I wouldn't have left if she had left first!

I had a wondermous time at my sister's home!....We played WII well into the night and gossipped like we did when we were kids......We all had a great time and it went too soon....But I will be returning as soon as I can get another vacation........

I am so sad to read we lost TripleNeg Stephanie.......She was such a devotional person and I truly believed she would find her miracle she needed.......I suppose God decided she had suffered enough and needed to be Home with Him........I will miss her so much and her tag of God is Able......I still believe God is Able even when we lose one of our sisters.....

I have been taking advantage of my steroid high to get a few things done before I crash out.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and happy Halloween too. I don't need to bother with a costume this year, I look in the mirror and see Uncle Fester looking back at me Surprised

Bkc, so sorry to hear about your brother!  I'm only on page 310 right now so maybe there's better news later.

Oh, Coonie & Barbe, I hate when our fur babies are hurting.

    Mary!  Are you now de-ported??

Arnie, you are so sweet to remember everyone's Bdays!  I have that list we made posted to my desktop, but I forget it's there!!  Happy Bday, Octoboo girls!

Faith, send those babies to my house so they can sweep my floor!!

Had my second infusion visit yesterday with the research study.  I don't feel spectacular today, but I feel pretty good, which is saying something.  Hmmm...

Big hugs to you all.  I've been busy & tired this week.  Went to my second annual Tickled Pink event the other night.  Good food, friends and women comics, with money to go to the hospital where I had my surgery, for bc research.  Got my second survirors' pink feather boa!!  Got my photo taken by some gals from the local radio stations that help sponsor the event.  Here I am, Jacqueline Sparrow or the Accidental Pirate!!  I put in a photo of the skirt I was wearing, too, so you could get the whole outfit effect!  LOL

Oh, just had to add a note about the great pix you've all been posting.

    Jayne, that's awesome!

Vivvie, that's why I quit taking tamoxifen.  And effexor, which never agreed with me.  I feel a lot better.  Not fabulous but my head is so much clearer.  Every one of us has those days when it's just all too much, though.  Several of them.

Jane, a big hug to you, too.  I can't wait till I'm done with the research visits so Dr. Kamath can really treat me for the fatigue.  The study is just to establish that this TRH actually does something, so it's not going to cure any of us right now.  But Dr. Kamath, the co-investigator, treats cancer related fatigue so hopefully he can take me on as a patient.

I know I've forgotten a few messages that I wanted to write, but I love you all.

    HAppY HaLLOweEn!!!!!!!!

Hope that everyone has had a happy day.

We are now safely up in northern WI, where it is VERY VERY cold & windy, too.

We came up for a couple nights to batten down the hatches for the long, cold season ahead.

Our visit with Saint's family was sooooo much fun.

    Her daughter's play was outstanding.
