Hey Saint Sisters.
We are safely here. We've been here since early afternoon.
Saint has had a pretty rough day.
She had an injection into her eye -- which she does as a series, but had not been able to receive for several weeks due to being so ill.
While at the clinic she went to get her blood numbers & she is low again..... they weren't able to get her in for the transfusion today, so she has that appointment in the morning.
Shortly after we got here today they received the news that her fur-baby cat has leukemia.
Tonight at dinner her fever and aches returned.
So we have been keeping her company & telling tales.
We will be glad to accept all prayers. I'm going to take her for the transfusion in the morning, but we're not certain that there will be enough room for me to stick around.

We're here & over half way thru the transfusion.... She's "pinking" up right before my eyes.
Thanks for the prayers on her behalf.
Tonight we have tickets to her DD's play. Oh happy day! -
Thinking of you.
Strength and Courage.

-
OMGOODNESS, Sharon.
They have that dog and that cat. Seriously.
Amazing!!
We are home safely. Saint is napping. it took seven hours today for her to receive two units. I think she was assigned the "chatty" nurse -- which added time thruout the process.
Anyhow, we got all caught up on our chitchat.
Theatre tonight.

Hope you get to the show tonight in fine style.........heck, in any style.

Faith, thank you so much for representing all of us with your hugs and laughs while with Saint. We are, at least I am, so very jealous that I'm not there in person too to give a real hug and say something oh so witty to make laughter bubble down the hallways ... hey - I can dream, can't I??? love, hugs and prayers
-
Faith thank you so much for the updates and descriptions of your chats......I love living vicariously through you......
Saint, hope you are enjoying your DD's play......Glad you "pinked" up nicely!...LOL!....
Praying fro more Strength for you, sweet sister.... -

be thinking and praying for you. Hugs, Debbie

We have departed saint's B&B and are headed north.
We had a great breakfast together and then BIG hug send-off.
The great news is that we were all able to attend their daughter's amazing play last night.
Brilliant production: Dark Side of the Moon. An amazing job on a very sophisticated show. WOW!!
I put up several pics on FB & will get something here when we get the internet to work.
Can't get the connection to work in the car....LOL -

-
P.S. I don't know a single thing about dogs.
The picture that you posted looked like their dog to me.
HOWEVER, they have a golden, not a lab.

Good morning Saint
Wishing you a happy and blessed Sunday!
You have a BEAUTIFUL family!!! No wonder you're so proud

The play is over, but not b4 we had 4 ppl surprise us last nite & come fair distances for the last show-----Debbie----you missed Gina & Dean by a few hours!!! Molly's godfather & his wife came too! Unfortunately this transfusion has not seemed to help as they have in the past--or I am coming down with SOMETHING else!! I see my onc tomorrow so we will check a few things!F&F--dh said it AGAIN after you left, "I feel sad that debbie & allen are gone!" I wish I was actually "in the pink" while you you were here! You sure did cheer me up & make a tough couple of days better--I think you & your dh do for ALL of us! LOVE YOU!!One of my dearest friends in fla is sending her adult dd to us to visit her aunt who is in the hospital with serious heart problems....so the guest room is getting lots of use! I love this girl, but I'm afraid I don't have the energy to really spend time with her------maybe it will change after I see the onc!Sick kitty doesn't seem to know he is sick--except that he has figured out that we're all soft touches on the cat treats now........it helps a little to know there is nothing that could be done & it wasn't neglect---he slept with me almost 24/7 when I had the flu----just like 9 years ago when I had my mast & recon.........good old kitty!HUGS all--be well & stay strong BTW---I look sickly in that pic!!!!! Nice to know I look as bad as I feel LOL
