Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Gentle hugs Saint. Next time it rains at night and I'm out with doggus.........I WILL dance in the rain, for you.
-
Hugs sharon! Why at nite????? LOL
We call our canines dogguses!!! Think it's common?
Be well & stay strong
-
One dog = doggus
Two or more dogs = dogguses (I doubt the name is common since I think I made it up.)
I will dance in the rain at night so nobody (except doggus and those above) will see me. And the forecast for the next few days is RAIN. Ya might want to close your eyes.........and imagine........
Gentle hugs.

God bless You Saint, Please take care,
Have been praying for You every night.
Send you ^..^ hugs

I took 245 pictures before lunch this morning. Seriously.
There must be a couple that will be worthy of sharing. LOL.
I can't believe that we missed our mutual buddies by a heart beat. I'm sure you had a great time together. Did the boys come, too??
I will be eager to hear what your onc has to report, tomorrow.
Sending prayers for you tonight -- that you rest easily.
Know that I'm thinking of you, up here as we cavort around this special place we once shared.

I just got off the phone with Saint. It's Monday, after all.
She is back to the hospital for another transfusion. Now that I have sat with her for one, from beginning to end, I have a much better sense of what is involved.
That was Fri, concluding @ 3:30. This is Monday @ 3:30, she was half way thru.
You do the math. She spent much of yesterday resting. She made it to church, but sat thru the whole service. (An enormous consession from SuperWoman.)
She did have her Navelbine treatment earlier today at the recommendation of her onc.
This is now a bit of a chicken & egg conundrum. Navelbine will hopefully help in the long run, but is that what's whipping her in the short term??? No one seems to know for certain.
The pics I posted above, I also posted on FB. They so concerned her sister in Europe that she called this afternoon -- very concerned over Saint's 'color.'
So let the prayers, good wishes and encouraging posts continue. She's in a great need for all of your good thoughts and supportive words.

My dear Saint & Saintsisters;
The most amazing thing happened earlier this morning. It was pitch dark, as we left well before dawn.
I was mentally saying good bye to this special place, expressing my gratitude for so much that is good, saying my prayers for Saint & our sisterhood.....
We were passing one of my favorite harbors -- nearly full moon lighting our progress. PEACE.
I SQUEALED... Nearly shrieked. The largest shooting star I've ever seen in my life, went flashing across the sky.
What a great talisman.
I seriously scared Allen... He thought I saw deer on the move.
May we each be here for one another.... Holding one another up.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

WOW F&F! What a wonderful experience! Gave me chills!!
I actually woke up feeling GOOD! It's probably the small amount of steroids I get with tx. To think I have always said I hate them---now I may be asking for more if they are the reason for today's break from the bed!! LOL
I think I may go to the humane society for the first time in months---I hear things have really changed there so they may not have a spot for me anymore--I might just call first---I'll see how I feel when I get in the car----the apple orchard is half way between here & there & we are out of cider!
Saying huge prayers of gratitude for today's reprieve. If I can just get a few of these strung together it will help my outlook immensely==been feeling down & onc even offered me drugs for the first time ever! I will wait to see if I need them.......
HUGS all===be well & stay strong

Happy hugs Saint.

Good morning, saint & saintsisters......
We are 'home' safely back to our little nest in Ohio. I have over a whole week before I take off for my next big road trip to DC for our big national event.
I have just learned that my mentor (in her mid-70s), who was to be a co-presenter, has been in a horrific car accident. I'm going to the hospital to see her this morning. The woman is another force of nature & beloved around the globe. She was just around the corner from her home & was hit by a truck. Say a prayer for our Mimi.
It makes me all the more aware how precious every little moment is.
Saint, I'll be eager to talk to you & see how long the steroid euphoria lasted...... I'm so grateful that it gave you a mental reprieve and some new hope.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Saint!!

-
Wow ... I hope and pray that yesterday's boost was the beginning of a long reprieve, to be followed next week by an even longer reprieve, until there's no need to ask for a reprieve. Faith, also praying for Mimi. Love and hugs to both of you.
-
Hmmmmm. Can't cut & paste??
I just posted on saint's other thread.......
Rough news update.
We spoke on the phone late this afternoon. Her steroid energy lasted just the one day. Today she has developed a nasty cold, with a wretched wracking cough. Every time that she spoke she then went into a coughing jag.
Our whole conversation lasted about 3 minutes -- that's all that she could handle.
She was still delighted over having one good day yesterday.
I'm concerned about her being cut off from phone support.
Saint, dear one, retreat into your cave and just relax. We're all here praying for you. Sending our best energy.
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
Sending up many prayers for you, Saint.
And also for you, Faith, and your mentor Mimi.
-
Sending you an early morning shooting star....
Because I know that they exist.
I believe.
I hope.
I'm here for you.xx00xx00xx00xx

I just keep thinking of how happy MissyMolls was to hug you after her show.
That's what keeps you going.
You know it.
Now rest in the assurance that we're here to support you.

Dear (((((Saint))))).

Saint rest and get strong. I know you are riding a storm as we all are but you show such courage. You inspire us all. God bless and love to you.

This is what Saint posted two hours ago on her other thread.
(From the Stage IV area)
Just a quick visit-----I honestly don't think I have ever been as sick in my life as I was last nite----dh wanted to take me to the hospital!! He stayed home to take care of me today---he really thought I had swine flu!! A very BAD cold with other stuff thrown in to make it confusing.......will EVENTUALLY get back to feeling well again.........won't be here much for a day or two...keep those prayers coming!!
(((((((((((Saint))))))))
HUGS-be well & stay strong
-
Faith when you talk to Saint give her our love. Prayers going up for her.
-
(((((((((((((Saint)))))))))))
My thoughts and prayers are with you continually!
