Hi guys, I wanna see a picture of a goose in a bra too. LOL
JO make all different kinds of watch bands then choose.
I have been still on a hat kick. I'll show you.

and I am going to hobby lobby tomorrow for more thread, some masculine colors. I just can't quit. Its crazy.
Hope all has a good evening.
-
Spar they look great. What a good job you did. Keep up the good work.
-
Oh my- so much falling, skinned knees and such! Please be careful ladies.
-
I am still making hats its almost like something is directing me to make as many as possible as fast as I can. Went to hobby lobby and bought $30 worth of yarn today.
Thank you kbugmom. how are you doing lately?
EWB it is good to see you, what have you been up to.
Anyone have any good ideas for Christmas crafts or anything you can make that little kids would like for halloween?
I will be glad when my name is fixed so I can post right. have a great night.
-
I am doing well thank you. I will have to think on some ideas for you to do for holidays.
Keep on making all the beautiful things you do.
-
magnets are often good for kids. Or bookmarks with ghosts or spiders on them - do kids read books any more??? .... I have made plastic canvas coasters in a poinsettia pattern and everyone loves them and they are also good for your Jewish friends. IF you make them 2 sided, they can be hung on a tree or in a window. I love those knitted or crocheted pot holders (for xmas presents).
-
Lefty, do you just cut out a poinsettia shape on the plastic canvas and then use yarn and thread through it on both sides. If that is how it is done I could do stars, angels, Christmas trees and all kinds of stuff. Have never tried that before.
Hope you guys have a good night. We had to go to the Vet and pick up my daughters dog, she had to be put to sleep and they were all too upset. We fixed a nice grave with a white cross that says we love our Shadow so the grandkids can visit the grave. It has been hard, I was attached to that sweet dog too.

Hello. crafty friends!...So sorry about the doggie!......Spar LOVE the hats!......maybe you are to give them to kids with cancer?.....Spar sorry kiddo but kids like candy for halloween, hands down..i tried the little toy thing once, got rolled!......LOL......i am working on a baby jacket and hat for HeartherPalmerton as she requested a full set for her booties...Very happy to oblige!.....I love making baby things...Still need about 20 more snowflakes for my tree this year but I still have time...Plus I need beaded garland to make my lace around it too.....i am also working on doilies......Who was I supposed to send another dove doily to?......Can't remember squat unless it is written down!.....
Oh, well, happy crafting all!.......
-
JO, it is weird, I even get up in the night just to finish a hat, it is crazy. I just am loving it right now. Would love to see more of jewlery. Have you tried the program snapfish. It is easier that photobucket and you just upload your pictures to it?
hollyann, I am taking lots of candy to church, but pastor wanted toys or crafts to give away also, I think I will make little girl necklaces and maybe some bookmarks, maybe buy some hot wheels for little boys. You do have a talent, have never seen anyone make such beautiful baby booties. You certainly could not buy something that nice at the store. What a blessing you are. I also bought some of the small crochet thread to try my hand at stars soon as I get over my hat obsession.
Lefty, got your pm and thank you so much.
Come to think of it, childrens cancer center, the chemo room, homeless shelters, all those places could probably use some hats.
Hope everyone has a great day, my fingers are itching to get back to making hats. Love you guys.

Churches sometimes do a mitten and hat "tree". You make and hang on the tree for "needy families". Someone gathers them and delivers with a meal voucher or bag of groceries.

Sahalie...so good to see you and love the pumkins!!!! What a neat idea! Have thought about you since Aug. 14th...hope you're doing well.
To all you lovely crafty ladies...have a blessed night!

Anyone working on christmas gifts? I need to get started.
-
Hi eveyone, I dont craft (yet) but I dropped in a while back and have be lurking ever since. You are all so talented.
I love the hat rack, I think I will ask hubby to help me make one for my chemo room as it is so hospital like. No life in there. A lovely happy hat rack would surely brighten the place up!
Spar~ I get hats at the chemo room. They have a pile of them for free. So each TX I pick out a brandy new one. I have all different color ones now. They are great as I am always hot then cold, then hot flash then freezing~ lol.
Hugs

I so enjoy reading this thread...have a great day, crafters.
-
Not thinking Christmas yet. Still wrapping my ideas around Halloween & Thanksgiving.
I love this simple idea.

-
We are always on the high seas at Halloween but I still decorate our abode with some fanciful things just for the fun of it.

-
Jo they had a t-shirt sale at a craft store near here the other week. It was kids t's for 5 for 10 I should have bought. Silly me I knew to buy but no didn't.
-
Now you have me thinking.
How about ironing something special on a blank apron.
Hand towels.
All sorts of creative things to do.

-
Jo now thats alot of shirts.
I make prayer shawls and prayer dishcloths and give as gifts. I like the apron Idea. Well we are thinking now aren't we?
-
On page 8 is an apron I made, sewed on decals and used pins, and Sahalie is the one that gave me the idea for it and I love the idea of using an iron on words. Sahalie you always come up with great ideas. thanks. Sometimes hobby lobby has the blank t-shirts on sale pretty cheap. Last year I did a lot of halloween projects but don't think I am going to this year. I used them all at the grandkids house since we are in the country and don't get any trick or treaters.
Still knitting hats and having a ball experimenting with them.
Has anyone heard from Lisa, who posted the dishes before, I would love to see some more of her work. Hope all has a good rest of the week, keep on crafting.
-
I am working on a scarf for my grand. Was going to do it in one color but realized need more yarn for that color. So I am using other I have. Which will work.
-

Does anyone make Apple Dolls any more?
Save those apples!
-
My DH presented me with a gift he made yesterday, here it is

A cross on wormwood
Also I made some childrens necklaces, here they are

Edited to make pictures smaller and add the red fox that is hanging around my back yard.

Hope all has a crafty day.
Sahalie, it is not long before you will be on your island snorkeling, swimming, and meeting up with old friends. Hope you have a blast and come home safely to us.
-
what is a prayer shawl. are there special directions for them?
-
A shawl you can knit or crochet. There is several patterns. As you make it you pray for person who will recieve it. You can look up prayer shawl online and will give more info.
