-
I've got a big pot of chicken soup on the stove ((((Saint)))).
-
Kbug----my ds is SO happy. He came home for the first time this weekend & it was such a blessing. He talked & talked & shared all his experiences about professors, clases, students, the city & his new "crowd" He is so delighted with it all & is in the right place for him!!!
Sharon---hugs & I'll bring the homemade bread!
Be well & stay strong
-
Hey, what a great idea........I'll pick up some buns at the local bakery tomorrow!!! Just in case you don't feel like making bread.
-
Saint isn't it amazing when kids go to college and come back they have grown up more. Even in a short time. Two of mine who went away to college when I saw them a week or so later they were different. More mature. LOL Glad you had a good time with him.

I've got big tears in my eyes, just reading back thru the happy chatter of our saint-sisters.
Great, big, crocodile tears (not alligator tears..... I've just been corrected by my 3 year old WB -- grandson, as to the difference between the two, and golly gee whiz, he was right!)
Saint, it's an actual blessing to come home & see your smiling face here.
Gals, her DS truly had 'grown' up. He'd crossed over to the 'adult table' and was so very at ease with sharing his new chapter of his life. Pretty awesome, proud mama-bear, pretty awesome!!
P.S. I heard a rumor of an event in Chicago at the end of Oct. I told them I SERIOUSLY want to participate -- so I can get up there to see mol's play. Wouldn't that be the coolest???? Twill keep you posted.

Dear Saint,
I am sorry to hear about your loses in the past few days. It is very hard to say good bye to people you love and care about. I hope you are feeling better and your strength is coming back.
One of the members of my Gilda's Club Wellness group passed away a few weeks ago. Our Wellness group recently had a memory circle meeting in honor of Mark. One of the members read the following:
"Every one of us is called upon, probably many times, to start a new life.
A frightening diagnosis, a marriage, a move, loss of a job...
And onward full tilt we go, pitched and wrecked and absurdly resolute, diriven in spite of
everything to make good on a new shore. To be hopeful, to embrace one possibility after
another - that is surely the basic instinct.... Crying out: High tide!
Time to move out into the glorious debris. Time to take this life for what it is."
by Barbara Kingsolver
This reading reminds me of you and Faith. I wish you a peaceful nights sleep and a sunny tomorrow. Peace be with you.
Sending you (((((HUGS and PRAYERS))))).
Your friend,
Cheryl

Awwwwww. Cheryl.
I love Barbara Kingsolver's writing. Have you read her books? I love her way with words.
How true, how true.
Big soft, gentle all encompassing hugs for you this day, my sweet saint.
You know you have a "key" and I wish you the strength and the calendar to make use of it.

God bless you and keep you full of peace
and comfort. {{{{{{{{{{{{Hugs and Prayers}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Saint, hope you are regaining your strength. Have you heard any more on the transfusion process and how long you will need to keep it going?
Faith, I have not read her books. I will look her up and check into them. I have a few vacation coming up and need to relaxe, have a feeling Barabara's books will help.
Have a peaceful nights sleep and a sunny warm tomorrow. ((((((HUGS))))))
Your friend,
Cheryl

Hey pals. Just want you to know that I'm sending out strength to our sister-saint.
I just called and left her a message from all of us. (No answer.)
Sending you strength for this day -- as the daisy reaches for the sky.
Big hugs.
A slice of apple pie for you...... with, or without ice cream, your choice.

Saint just called back.
We laughed over my upcoming efforts to create the bride's "bird cage" veil. TOOOO funny.
Today is day #8 of her last transfusion & she's feeling pretty ok.
Prayers and more prayers that her treatment is making progress & that the rads effects are subsiding.

Saint -
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May he make his face shine upon you.
-
Hey ((((Saint)))), glad you gals were able to connect and have a good chuckle. Gentle hugs.
-
I gotta say--that pic from last week PROVES what I have been telling my family & docs----all those shots in my eye are giving me a double dark bag under that eye---guess it will be easier to pack for a trip! LOL
-
Hi Saint,
You look great all the time. I am not sure what you are talking about? I hope your day was relaxing and you will have a nice night. Sending you ((((((HUGA and PRAYERS)))))). Have a bright and sunny day tomorrow.
Your Friend, Cheryl
-
Cheryl. I keep trying to tell her that. Apparently saint was a cover-girl for Vogue in an earlier chapter of her life, so she has 'issues' with photographs of her in her more-mature years. LOL.
Considering the hour I think we both look pretty darn admirable. LOL.
Sending my continuous loop prayers for strength for this day, sweet Saint.
Your strength and tenacity is a marvel & we're glad to be in your cheering section.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
Two weeks from this minute we will be in the car, heading east to the coast, giggling over all of the festivities about to unfurl, with fingers crossed that the sun will sparkle on that gazebo, perched at the edge of the bridge. Pinch me.
-
I think you both should be modeling for a magazine. You both look great. The smiles you have bring so much joy to us all.
Have a great weekend. Saint and Faith sleep well, eat well and laugh often. I know you will both laugh often. You are both in my prayers. (((((HUGS)))))) to you.
Your Friend, Cheryl
-
God be with you as you both travel, I was wearing your
comfort wrap and saw your angel Saint, God be with
you both.
-
Hugs Saint. Thinking about you.
-
Dear sister Saint, Sending you lots of prayers and love today.....Hope your day is sunny as here in the Deep South it is rainy!......Continued prayers for continued strength, dear Saint.......
-
Morning our dear Saint. Do you have plans for the weekend? May you have some fun.
-
[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[Hugs and Prayers}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Take care, My prayers are with you.
-
Saint....... I sure wish you were attending our upcoming wedding.
Just your presence would bring me a sense of serenity.
Today was the meltdown that we all anticipated.
Not pretty.
The sun is down now & I pray it comes up again -- for you, for us.
We'll try it anew in the 'morrow.
I'm sending you encouragement.
Maybe I'm glad that we don't have our own reality show....... LOL.
Look forward to our next phone conversation -- I'll give you all the doo-dah-day.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
-
God be with you tonight, Sleep well
and remember You are special.
Take care, Footprintsangel
-
Praying for you to have strength to enjoy the day ((((Saint)))).
