Good Monday morning sistahs! Hope all of you had a wondermous weekend. It's time to get up, get that coffee or tea and start a new week.
Thunder woke me up really early this morning. It's raining again, but I'm not gonna complain. We need it and maybe---just MAYBE it will cool things off.
Checkum I've been thinking of you and hoping you're feeling better. So sorry about your friend. That's such a bummer. I just hate cancer with everything in me! Hope your bike ride made you feel some better.
Faithie what a cooooooool picture!!! You get the best pics in the world! I bet your DH is used to it by now, huh? Stop----go----look----wait----let me get my camera!!! hehe It's worth every stomp on the brakes or the accelerator to get those shots you're able post for us. Hope you were able to sleep well last night before your hectic worklife begins this week. I know wittle kiddies everywhere are lucky that your vacation is over for now.
Sharon my sweet Canadian friend snookerdoodles you. I hope your Monday is wondermous too! You're gonna have to walk for me today 'cause I just can't get out in this rain. You know me----any excuse
And maybe doggus can put in a few extra steps for my dogguses 'cause I KNOW they'll just sleep all day.
Arnie! How are you feeling? I know it will take a while for the chemo to get out of your system, but it's got to feel better "mentally" knowing you don't have to get that poison anymore. Do you have your "deport" date yet? That's when I officially celebrated. I was glad to get that foreign object out of my chest. Did I tell you I have it in a ziplock bag. When I get down, I just look at that and it reminds me I can get through anything. Hang in there. The rads will be over before you know it, and you'll be celebrating the holidays!!
Julz how's it going with kids back in school? Surely the house must be quieter while you try to sleep during the day.
Linda it's quieter in your house too, huh? Has DH healed completely? Will his tongue ever get back to a normal tongue again? I'm so glad you guys are done with that.
Paula I love the pic of you, your SO and grandkids. I'll say it again, you sure don't look old enough to be a grandmother. You look great!! Grandkids are precious too!
Carol you sound like a busy lady. All that cooking, gardening, etc. I wish I could do half of that....LOL. Your family is lucky to have homemade EVERYTHING! hehe
Deborye don't you just love baby pics? I want grandbabies too, but with only one daughter, who only has college on her brain right now, it looks like it will be a long time. Of course, I'm not complaining about the college thing. LOL. But-----I can hardly wait for grandkids! They say they're the best!
Barbe, Merilee, Mum, Idun, Dream, EWB, SoCalLisa, and any other Escapees I missed. I hope you all have a wondermous Monday!!!!

Wait till Checkum sees that pic. Great work Faith!!!
Hugs and a good day salute to all.
-
Tis a great pic. Can you find one that says Barbe1958???? That's next years' challenge!
-
Morning ladies hope everyone enjoyed the weekend weather. My husband and I were up to this all weekend. See what I mean by obsessed. It took him hours to get the shot.
-
But it's breathless Mumayan!!!!
-
How does he know where the birds are going to fly to? How does he know where to sit? Does he put down feed or something? With my luck, the birds would be flying behind me doing skits or something while my camera was pointing the other way....sigh.
-
Once we spot the species of bird he is looking for then we stalk the same bush or tree because birds are creatures of habit they usually return to the same tree or bush. Some times in the parks there are feeders which he will also stalk.

Good morning escapees

Hope everyone has a great Monday... xoxoxo

Yes. You shoulda been in the glove compartment of the truck -- as I was hollerin' go faster, go faster. DH was wanting to exit the freeway for a DQ he'd seen a billboard advertising.
Weaving between semis.
You can imagine.
Then it was SERIOUSLY a challenge to get the pic at that speed and with both of our vehicles 'moving.' Good thing my camera's gotta a quick zoom feature.
I knew you'd all get a kick.
So now I'll be on the look out for a license plate picture for each of you. LOL.
Barbe made the first request, so I'll see what I can do.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Back to "real life" and all of those fun details.

Faith, you have to wonder if the other car was racing FROM you thinking something was "up".
-

Evening Escapees !
I had so much to read to get caught up with you. We had a great 4 days in Chicago, even though it was mostly for the SO's business (big Print Show) I could have kicked myself for leaving my camera in the hotel room on Sunday morning. We went to the Print Show in the morning, but at the end of the day we went on a big boat on the lake. We cruised up and down along Chicago to the Navy Pier. It was so beautiful, we had food and drinks it was the best escape we've had for awhile. Heidelberg provided it all as a customer appreciation, SO has a Heidelberg press and bought a new folder while we were at the show. So sorry I don't have pictures of that shoreline to share with you. I took some with my phone but they just aren't good enough for here
(
Thanks coonie you are always so complementary !
(((((mumm))))))
arnie feel better !
faith great pic glad no one was hurt getting it
Blessings for all ..................
