saint...... here's tonight's sunset.......
further north than we ever took you.
all the way to the tip of the top, past the Viking Grill & her cherry chutney and beyond:
-
We're in the midst of starting the packing process.
That means we're headed your way -- really soon!!
Can't wait.
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
It makes me smile to think of you two catching up again, I know how special it is when you connect with special ones from the chat room, hugs to you both and special prayers your way saint xoxoxo
-
badbabe........ YOU were the very first person for me to ever 'chat' with @ BCO.
I'm sure you don't remember that fact, but I certainly do.
Your story of courage and simultaneously your matter-of-fact, "can-do" attitude meant the world to me at the time.
Thank you for everything you said 'back then'
Thank you for blessing our upcoming 'catching up.'
We all bless each other, by our examples of support.

Good morning my Sainted friend. Your day with F&F is drawing near. Yooohhooooooo. Ya'll had better behave yourselves. You're two respectable sisters on this board, and we don't want that to change....hehe LOL.
Hope and pray you can gain strength and courage from each other. Maybe some wisdom too. I know it will be a great time between the two of you and your families.

-
No news is good news, right?
-
Didn't mean to keep you guessing.... Certainly didn't spend a minute on computer.
We had such a blessed time together!!! The frilled salmon was amazing. Saint does an amazing merinade that is incredible. Their college son was home for his first weekend of home laundry. Heir daughter had her 'banjo man college BF there for rhe great grill out of '09.
The men retired to the TV cave so my DH could watch his beloved Buckeyes, ultimately lose the BIG game.
Which gave the two of us all night to visit & get caught up.I finally remembered to take a picture of the two of us before midnight. LOL woulda been better earlier, but we have documentation. LOL
We awoke 'early' and "snuck" out with a quick hug of her DH who was up with their dogs.
I admit. It was the coward's way out..... We weren't forced to say "good by" to each other, only 'good night' last night.
In addition to your regular prayers, send up an extra ton as today their family will attend the funeral/visitation for a classmate of their son...whom saint has known before his birth. A very challenging afternoon awaits them today.
Sharon would you cut & paste this to the other thread? Thanks.
About 8 or 9 hours to home.
What a lovely gift.... To have had time together.
I gave her hugs from all of you. She spends less energy coming to BCO, but appreciates your prayer support, more than ever. Especially today, which will be so filled w emotions. -
((((Saint))))
-
Lots and lots of love and hugs to dear Saint.
-
-
Faith I am glad you all had so much fun. Thanks for giving her our love also. Praying for them thru this tough day ahead.
-
ooooohh Saint!!! Faithie "snucked" out without tellin ya
Are you gonna fuss at her? I bet you could have used just ONE more hug....LOl. So glad you all got to spend some time together!! I'd give anything to just be a little butterfly on the wall.Hope you have a good week. I'm glad your weekend was filled with family and friends!!
(((( Saint ))))

-
Coonie. She did fuss at me -- but just a little bit. She was gracious enough to do it in a PM.
LOL.
Here's the documentation, that I promised.
Taken VERY late last night.
After the delicious apple pie & DQ ice cream.
After the Buckeys lost in the final seconds.
In saint's kitchen, by her DH,
With Alphie the WonderDog:
-
Thats a great pic. The dog is a cutie also. You all look great.
-
Well, the two of you look wonderful and happy and the dog looks great also. I am sooooooooooo glad you were able to spend some time together.
Saint happy to hear college boy was so talkative. I just returned from visiting my stepdaughter for the weekend and she was more talkative this weekend than in the past years we visited campus. I guess that happens when they start to become adults. Now we have that to go thgough.
Have a peaceful night and a sunny tomorrow. Sending you ((((((HUGS and PRAYERS))))))
Your friend,
Cheryl
-
Good morning Saint and Alphie!

I love the pic of you three. I'm so glad you were able to spend some time together.
Hope you have a wondermous Monday!
(((( Gentle Hugs ))))
-
Wonderful to see you both together again. Ha, I mean the three of you.
-
Hey. It's Monday. I'll call you after a bit.
I gotta re-train myself about the time difference again.
I thought about you & the kids all day yesterday -- sending a continuous loop prayer.
xx00xx00xx00xx
I miss you already.
-
After a few messages back & forth to one another -- we finally connected this evening.
It's been a tough couple of days for our saint.
They made it thru the visitation yesterday for their dear friend's 18 year old..... then said goodby again to their college man, returning him rightfully to his campus -- and now today to lose her very dear friend Mena.
That's a lot in a short time for the toughest among us.
Edited, because I feel like we need a new picture to offer us a reminder of who's in charge:
Please hold saint up in your prayers -- as she sorts thru all of the various types of loss.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
-
God be with you Saint, There is a rainbow
after the storm. Please know I am praying
for you, You are a very caring lady. Take care
