SoCal - how lucky you were - it's beautiful.
-
Lisa, we have a covered bridge locally and seeing this picture reminds me of family reunions we had at that bridge. The setting is so similar.
Have a great day everyone
-
Wow, Lisa! I knew we could count on you to find us a wonderful place to gather. You are right. It is an excellent place for a campfire. What a peaceful scene it is! You must be surrounded by some of the most beautiful things because your photos are always so lovely!
I am going to put on a pot of coffee even though the morning is half over. I brought along some banana nut muffins to share. Here's hoping you all have a wonderful day today.

pam,
i think i'll sit a spell with you--a fresh cup of coffee and a delicious banana nut muffin sounds like just what i need. i brought a fresh fruit salad and some iced green tea for when the weather heats up this afternoon. i will gather some firewood when i am done with my coffee and throw a peace log on for everyone to come and sit with us with no anger,or resentment. we are lucky to have this quiet peaceful place and the women who join us here.
lisa,
as always, you're pictures are just beautiful.

ellie... so glad you stopped in. That iced tea will certainly be refreshing this afternoon. Yes, we are very fortunate to have this peaceful place. The fruit is very tempting also. Reaching out a han of friendship to all who tarry here. An arm of support. Today will be a good day.
-
Well looky looky who just pulled in in her shiny, crystal studded wagon---it's me, Silvergirl! Haven't been here in a month of Sundays but thought it would be good to sit a spell around the campfire again. Who's got the M&Ms and chocolate fountain? We all need to remember what a fun and safe place this was and can still be. The ladies here (and I see many have returned---how wonderful to see you all) were/are a little crazy, a lot funny and always loving and supportive.
-
Wow..so good to see everyone gathering...the big third anniversary is coming up in two days...
yippie...anyone have any blue drinks?
-
Hi Lisa ..
Oh my .. such a beautiful pic. I can picture myself there loving the nature around me.
Can I have a "virgin" blue drink???
You reminded me of DebC with that.
Hugs to all the Circle gals .. past, present and future.
love,
Bren

Lisa - so good to see you and your pics. What a beautiful gift you have.
Glad to see so many posting again. Throwing in another log in fire for all those in need.
-
I see we are all drawn back as the anniversary of the circle draws close. I miss so many - so many we have lost made us laugh, weep, filled our hearts and minds with so much love, strength, courage. I never see a rainbow now but that I think of them and I always just get silent and say "hi" to my sisters.
Believe we have some gals that can play guitars and we are going to gather and sing later tonight near the fire. We'll remember those we have lost and those that are struggling - come join us.
Wishing God's blessings to all.
-
Can I join the party???????????
I'll bring the blue drinks - includng a virgin one for Bren.

Just the Circle, my pony and me....
There is a low hanging moon over the mountains. We can hear Rio Bravo in the distance.
The smoke rises up and makes whisps that mixes with the light clouds. The starlight is creating gentle shadows around the campfire that look like angels dancing with us... are they? The warrior angels who have gone before us never left us. They watch over the circle, hold our hands when we are scared and let us know we are loved and we are beautiful, dammit.
I have margueritas made with blue tequila.
I have fresh baked apple brown betty from a pan we put in the fire.
I have my pony, my wagon and the spirit of the circle always.

Happy Aniversary to one and all
-
Happy Anniversary.....I am so disappointed!.....My Circle of Prayer thread has been totally deleted!.....I consider this dicrimination!......EVERYONE was welcomed there and now it is GONE!.......I am so upset about this!......I am leaving BCO and going to breastcanswers.org instead hope I will see my friends there too.....and note I said FRIENDS!.......
-
Every now and then I find I have extra time to surf around and see what's going on. I don't post on many threads regularly, and altough I have often dropped in on yours (I find it so comforting to hear the banter and envision the yummy treats you describe) I never posted. I realized today was the anniversary you were so looking forward to and I wanted to say "Happy Anniversary" ...I hope the dust settles and your friendship continues. SoCal does such a wonderful job posting incredible pictures and the visual of tossing a log on the fire and sitting down for a spell with friends is comforting. Reading this thread is like having the world stand still for just a few minutes and being surrounding by peace. Thank you for keeping it going...through thick and thin...and giving a place to take refuge in the storm.
-
Happy Anniversary Circle Girls!
Sending love to the families of all the Circle girls we've lost the past three years.
We love you and miss.
Welcome to all the new Circle Girls.
Love,
Bren

Most of us know what this is all about..
-
let's all throw a log on the fire...
here goes..
-
Aww heck, we need a bigger one than that..
-
NOPE the Mods did not Pm me and let me know my thread was gone!.........SHAME to whoever deleted it!.....
-
Happy Anniversary.
Hollyann, no one but the moderators have the power to remove or delete a thread. Ask them why they deleted it.
My 2 cents on this whole situation is way too many are blowing things out of proportion. The snowball is now an avalanche.
Chill out ladies.
-
Happy Anniversary to everyone. May the days ahead be filled with love, laughter and fun. May we each embrace the gift of each day.
Hugs
Liz

sorry to be day late.. as usual.. HB day CG....
luv & peace -
Jo, my cholesterol hasn't been checked in over 4 years. Nope, all my lab work with PCP he never checked it. Made an appointment with a new PCP - because of obvious issues with DH care and mine. DH colon cancer and then telling me no appointment for 2 weeks when he was having problems not related to his surgery was the final straw. My cholesterol was on the high side way back when - I'm dreading this. have a feeling I'll be joining you on a strict diet for cholesterol.
Late Happy Anniversary to the circle - a bit late. Have a great day all.
-
I did the low cholesterol, low fat diet and it did nothing for my values...I ended up with zocor which really did the job...
-
Good morning Circle Girls...Lisa, I take zocor as well, the generic version, but it got my numbers down good. Hoping you all have a happy day today. It has been nice here in Georgia. The sun is shining although the clouds are really moving. It was nice and cool this morning, very unusual for August. I came by yesterday but neglected to wish all a happy anniversary. I remember so well when Puppy and Vickie talked me into coming here. I was so shy and felt so alone, but was quickly enveloped into the warmth of friendship. I hope that continues on. Pam
