Good night sweet sisters......Please say a special prayer for our dear SweetPea Hannah...She is back in the hospital again....She has an ear infection and a high fever and the docs need our prayers to guide them to help Hannah.....She also is facing more surgery to take more lymphnodes because they found cancer in one of her other lymph nodes they took previously.....ALSO she may be doing rads too.....This poor child has been through the wringer!.....On the bright side she sepnt last Friday night with the Jonas Brothers right up by the stage..Only the body guards got closer than she did......And then seh went backstage for a meet and greet and spent 10 minutes with the entire Jonas family....She also met Jordan Sparks from American Idol...But her parents could tell something was up so seh ended up in the hospital over the weekend......I am so angry at this disease!......Why should a child suffer from breast cancer?...it is so unfair!.........
-
I will take watch now, I will put another log of faith and pray for Hannah and
all the others going threw hard times with Chemo, pain, test or just need
an extra bit of hope. I got some peaches and alittle bit of goodies, I will start
coffee and count my blessing even threw hard times.

Footprints, not sure I understand your post.
As others have pointed out, soon will be 3 years since this thread started and we gathered as a group to offer support and encouragement and sometimes prayer. There were many Christian gals here and some were not. It was never intended to just be a prayer thread. Everyone was welcome - there were so many facing some dark and difficult days and we wanted them to know they were not alone - we would gather in a circle as wagon circles of years ago did to protect and support each other.
Many of us have been able to move forward or when the big change over the last time and we had days of not being able to log on, didn't find our way back but many of us still come back to visit and offer encouragement and toss on another log.
No one is trying to take anything away but maybe we shouldn't try to change things to just become a prayer thread either. Is that what is happening now? There are other places here for that and I don't want anyone to feel if they aren't Christian or into prayer they can't come here. That seems rather unChristian to me. I am praying I have misundersood your post and what you were saying.
-
Footprints, thank you. I see you deleted the post so apparently you had second thoughts also.
-

Hello circle girls......I come into this circle needing prayers for a job....I have been looking for two months.....I guess it is my age.....It sucks getting old!......Bren good to see you......
Footie where are you today?.....I see some deleted posts but I don't see you......Gentle hugs to you, my friend........... -
Hello Hollyann ... sending out some positive thoughts and prayers that you will get a job ... and a great job at that.
How's the weather down your way? It is so hot and humid up here ... arghh.
Getting old does suck .. and the extra 20 lbs sucks too. Thank god I transcribe for a living and my age doesn't matter .. only my fingers and a little medical terminology.
love,
Bren
-
Bin it is hot in Hotlanta!.....I wish I knew how to do the transcribing.....SIGH...But I had been a cashier for Kroger for over 12 years and have no other skills........
-
Hollyann, I was just reading through this thread and saw your post about losing your job. I think I could have written almost exactly the same thing, except the occupation is different. I have spent the last few months crying, job hunting and just wondering why. I have no magic cure for you, just wanted you to know you are not alone. I worked for my company for 7 years!
Need some more logs for the fire?
-
Hollyann, I also missed your post concerning your job. I wish you luck on finding a new position.
Hello one and all.
Support and hugs to everyone.
