either ok for me.
Any news from Lisa?
-
Ki's was really good. I don't know how central Cardiff is though.
Susan-Check Lisa's thread. I put info there last night.
-
How about somewhere in La Jolla..
like near BJs or TGIF
-
BJs ok - not TGIF. There is also a CPK & Elijahs - a deli
-
BJ's works for me.
-
What kind of restaurant is BJ's?
-
We recently ate at BJs and my daughter got food poisoning. I would prefer Elijah's or Miami Grill at UTC or CPK.
-
I vote for Elijah's or Miami Grill.
-
I could conceivably make it the last of the month, barring unexpected hospitalizations. I vote for Elijah's, too.

When is the lunch, ladies? Like Lisa, barring catastrophic illness, I will probably make it - for the first time!
-
where is Elijahs?
oops, I found it..sounds great..
Lisa, if you can make it... I can drive..let me know..
-
Hi SoCal - I might take you up on your kind offer to drive, thanks! I have a couple of wonderful caregivers that do most of my errands and driving to appt's, NO driving for me. But I could give E. the afternoon off and more than pay for my lunch with the savings! I just hope hope hope I am up to it.
Brenda S. - I really hope you can make it, too. We will often finalize the plans mere days beforehand, but it looks like this month's brunch will be Sun. Aug 30th at Elijah's (in the LJ Village Sq area) at around noon-ish. Make sure SoCal has your email, as she frequently sends reminder messages as the event approaches.
Lilyj - we hope to welcome you to our group, too! Hope it's a good date/time for you.
Brenda (BMD) it looks like it may be a strong turnout for lunch after all!

I'd love to meet you, Sun., Aug. 30 works well, around noon, at Elijah's. I'm excited to meet all of you in person.
Thank you for including me.

I just tried to map quest the restaurant and it says it's in Del Mar? That doesn't sound right.

LOL, Lisa, my mom used to say that all the time, so it must be a Michigan thing, too.
Can't make lunch--it's the last day of summer vacation for us, so will be busy getting the kiddos ready for the first day of school. Hope you girls have a good time!
-
Yes Sylvia. I can come over to your house and we will go from there. How about 11:15?
-
perfect!

Lily - that map doesn't really show you where Elijahs is. From Villa La Jolla Drive, turn at the movie theater. If you are coming from Nobel, turn away from Ralphs at the light.
Elijahs is in the back. Find the watch store & go past there.
-
thanks susan
-
Lisa SDCA - thinking of you. Hope all is looking up soon.
Gabriella is doing great - ready to start 6th grade - yikes!!!! Still has a good head on her shoulders - hope it stays that way.
Miss you all!
