-
Lisa, that sounds fine, Bennigans it is. I can get a res when we get some idea of who can come.
Hugs, Shirl
-
Bennigans works for me. What time? Earlier is probably better down there on a Sunday.
-
How about 11:30???
-
Works for me.
-
Hi deaar sisters, I made the reservation at Bennigan's for 11:30am this Sunday, the 26th. Bennigan's is right opposite In & Out Burger, on the other side of that street. MapQuest it, it is easy.
See you SUnday, Shirlann
-
So ., it is Shirlann, Me, BMD for Sunday..who else...???
-
There is an update on LisaSDCA on that thread.

Hi Ya!
I'll be arriving in San Diego late July 24. I'm going to try to join you if my son will let me borrow his car. It is brand new, so I know he is a bit touchy about somebody else driving it. He is having knee surgery on 7/27, so I'm coming to help with the girls. I sure hope I can make it.
Love and prayers to all of you, Linda
-
Hope to see you Linda...
-
Linda-I love that so many sisters from out of the area come to meet us. Hope you can make it.
-
Count me in as a maybe. Have some stuff going on this weekend and will try to get away on Sunday - 11:30 at Bennigans. Sorry to be "iffy." Hugs to all, Jeanne
-
I will be coming from PQ. Anyone coming through there? If yes, perhaps I can catch a ride? If not, I'll probably rent a car for a few days. Looking forward to seeing you!
Linda
-
Hi all,
Count me in too.
Linda, I live in Mira Mesa near Black Mountain Road and Mira Mesa Blvd. What part of PQ will you be coming from?
Brahna
-
I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. We just bought a boat and need to grab the boys and spend some time on the water. I think my husband is having a mid-life crisis - first an RV and now a boat. I guess it's better than another woman....
Lisa #3
-
Awww heck Lisa#3..wish we could see you...
-
Hi gals, our reservation for 8 is in, but if we have fewer, they don't care. Bennigan's is in the South parking lot of the Mission Valley Macy's, not Fashion Valley, Mission Valley.
See you there! Shirlann
-
thanks Shirl...what name is it under, yours?
See you then...
-
Brahna,
My son lives off Black Mtn Rd in Crestmont. I will PM you with info. I would be so grateful if you could give me a lift. Excited to see all of you. Linda
-
Yes, Lisa, my name. (Shirley) Hope we have a lot of sisters!
Hugs, Shirlann
-
I'll be there if I get up in time!
-
OK GuitarGirl..that sound just like the retired person you have become!!!
See ya
-
Actually I might skip. There is nothing for me to eat on that menu!
-
Missed you Susan, they did have soups and salads...
Missed all who were not with us today...special hugs to LisaSDCA
and Thank you Shirlann for making the reservation...
and for Linda from Michigan for joining us...
-
I missed you guys too. I got a phone call from the daughter of my mother's new roommate at the nursing home. She's very nice, but she went on & on for 45 minutes, and by the time I could get off, I was talked out.
Also big big hugs to Lisa SDCA
-
It was great having lunch with you today. You are such a fun and supportive group. Brahna, thanks for the ride. I wish you well with your LAST treatment. You are doing so well - you go girl! Hope your toe is doing OK. I'll be back in SD in January; so hope to see you all then.
Love and prayers to all of you, Linda
-
Loved our time together. Missed LisaSDCA and everyone else who did not make it.
-
my jade plant blossomed suddenly while I was gone this afternoon
the flowers are soooo teeny, tiny...but beautiful
-
I received the card y'all sent - what a thoughtful and welcome gesture! It cheered me up on a grueling day - visits from Social Worker, Nurse Case Manager, Occupational Therapist and even an interview for a P/T caregiver.
But you all were thinking about me when you gathered on Sunday - that means a lot.
I can feel the love!
Have high hopes of being able to join with you again in Aug. I am durn sick of these little 'adventures' and have determined to get healthy without further distraction! Well, except for another surgery (and recovery period) when I get to have my replacement piece of skull inserted. That means more staples in the bone, too. Oh yay.
Lisa
p.s.~ SoCal, Have I mentioned how much I've been enjoying your photos? Well, I have been. And you all look especially photogenic in July's picture!
-
I'd like to meet you the next time you get together for lunch. Do you have anything scheduled?
It sounds like fun!
