Kerry, these are fantastic pics. Thank you so much for posting them so quickly... Linda, we are definitely planning for a next time so you can join us too. Helen
-
Next time, if I can get a ride, I will be there.
-
What a blast! That was a good afternoon. We will do it again. We talked about bringing our families out to our orchard at apple picking time. We can pick and afternoon and have a picnic if you like. Or we could do an evening and have a corn roast.
Kerry, great pictures.
Gigigigi, There are 4 gi's in your name!
Dreamwriter, we will get you there next time!
-
What a beautiful group! Looks like you had wonderful time! (PiP, you're so cute!!!!)
-
Ahhh, thanks Ann.
Wouldn't you know that I would have a cup of coffee in my hands! Now if only I had chocolate in the other one.
-
Do I really look that bald? great to meet everyone and am looking forward to apple picking AND a corn roast!
-
thisisme.....no you don't look that bald. In person, even though your hair is short, it is thick. I'm jealous. I hope I get to your stage soon.
-
You look just fine thisisme, and your cap (though not in the pictures) is so jaunty. Thanks for the pictures Kerry.
Oh I think we will do it again, we had too much fun not to. We just need to get the rides lined up earlier.
-
Wow, looks like you guys had a great visit. I am glad it worked out well and I enjoyed it vicariously. Thanks for posting the pics so quickly Kerry. You made me smile seeing you all having such a good time together and looking so good!
Have a great week all.

PIP - what is the name of you Orchard again? Do you have a website?? I think some apple picking sounds great! Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon, it was a great afternoon.
thisisme - that is just a bad angle, you really don't look that bald. I actually was telling my husband how nice you looked, made me feel better about my short 'do.
Elizabeth and anyone else who couldn't make it yesterday - hope you can make it next time too!

At work today I will check the schedule and put a couple of dates out there for consideration. We can do families or just us, afternoon or evening. There are pros and cons to each so lets start discussing what we want to do.
-

It was a great afternoon and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. I look forward to our next get together.

Ahhh, now I'm really bummed that i couldn't go. I will try to make the next one though. Well all you torontonian ladies, I am now bunked down at the Princess Margaret Lodge Mon-Fri having rads at sunnybrook. My times vary right now, but am planning on going to Jays game next tuesday (18th) to watch the dr. pitch.
Glad you all had a great afternoon, here's lookin at next time.
Cheers,
Sherry

sherry35 -- tomorrow is my last rads at Sunnybrook. My appointment is for 9:50 a.m. What time will you be there? Helen
-
Helen - Congrats on having your last rads today! Say bye bye to machine #6!!
-
Congrats Helen,
I won't be there until after 3:00 so we won't be able to hook up. I visit primus2. Today will be #4 of 25 woo hoo. Then 6-8 boosts. So far so good.
Cheers,
Sherry
-
Hi Sherry.......I'm done. Had been visiting Primus 6 for 25 days. I didn't have any problems. My skin is red now but no pain, no blistering, no skin breaks.....I hope yours continues to go well.
Kerry, thanks ... I said my "good byes" .... and hope to never see it again. Therapist also said she never wants me to see it again but she said I should stop by to say "hello" to her when I can.
Helen
-
Helen,
Do something special for yourself today. Sit outside and have a glass of wine, go for walk, buy yourself flowers, sleep in... whatever. but take a moment to take a breath and celebrate your strength!
jacqui
-
Thanks everyone for your kind words on my (hair). I am really looking forward to getting to Kerry's length as then it looks like I did it on purpose!
-
Thanks Jacqui for the excellent advice ... I will definitely follow up on your suggestions. Right now I'd be happy to have your hair. Mine is taking forever to "wake up" although I think I may see one that has popped up. Helen
