Our Escape

Idun. The only part that Coonie left out of the #32 story is that the picture that KAK 'assembled' in photoshop took the pink duck from one pic, our dear Sharon from another and the actual dock at the end of my block for the third -- to create our very own 'collage.'
I'm safe & sound in BabyTown. Good grief how everyone has grown in the month I've been away. Little missy snicklefritz who can be so persnickity just wanted me to hold her the entire evening until bedtime. Oh, it made my heart ache to have missed so much.
I sent my two DDs out to the movies. DD2 is here for the weekend -- so it's a wild women wonderland. SIL is off on a week's Air Force "mission" so DD2 came to keep DD1 company.
Anyhow, I kept reading book after book to WB and even after I'd had him all tucked in kept talking and talking and talking and talking to him..........
Finally I said, "I guess I'd better leave you alone so you can go to sleep."
His response: "Great!"
OK. So I missed the little buggers just a bit. Now I miss my DH and I was with him this morning. LOL

#32 is on it's way!! You'll know there close when you hear the noise!
Faith, Have fun in babytown!
-
Hello glow-girls!
And perhaps some pizza too.
I´v been sitting here with my morning coffie, laughing outloud, my DH thinks I´m finally gone crazy
)
With my hands full now, taking care of my DEAR children, but I will be back later today.
Hugs!
-
Faithandfif - this story gets even better ;0) and the outcome is great!
I am going out with my familiy to pick some blueberrys and mushrooms, it´s the season right now. Do you think the #32 would make it over the Atlantic ocean? I could sure use some extra hands over here ;0)
How old are your children? My 2 year old girl shows the same affection each time I´m back home and I´m the one that has to cuddle her to bed, brush her teeth etc, her dad is totally dismissed
)
Well, off to the blueberrys and mushrooms!

Carol, I can't see your picture at work. I'm lucky to be able to check the forums, but pix don't show.
I'm worried about Checkum. Last I remember, she was getting a chest x-ray. Did I miss something?
I hope to post some pix when I get back, but my own computer is going in today for repair. As soon as I didn't renew my Norton protection, my computer went crazy. Do you see a link here?

Good afternoon Escapees. Hope all of you have had a wonderful day.
Idun, I can't wait to see your great escape pics. Thanks for setting the time difference for us. Iceland sounds like such a beautiful place. A land full of ICE................ooooooolllaaaaa nice and chilly! Heat index here today is 103 degrees. I WANT ICE!!
DH and I had a great escape today. We pulled the 4-wheelers out, went to the woods and rode about 30 miles. It was so much fun. I love being in the woods. I'll try to post some pics.
Carol and Arnie............your pics are beautiful!! I love your backyard Arnie.
I'm worried about Checkum too!!! I hope she comes back soon. -
Coonie and Mr. Coonie enjoying an Escape to the woods on 4-wheelers:)
DH crossing man-made bridge over creek in the woods.......
Getting our gear ready to hit the road...
DD took my pic waiting patiently in the truck
DH eating a snack on man-made bridge...
Not quite sure what this weird face was thinking, but if you look real hard, you can see a scratch from my lip going back towards my ear. I got in a fight with a pine tree.......I won by the way, but I still got a nasty scratch.......LOL. Pines are very weak
heheh
