Hugs Checkum, drains suck but at least the end of this crap is in sight. Yikes, it's a little scarey thought isn't it?
-
Have a nice sleep Julz.
-
OH SHARON.....
I don't have to sleep.....cuz you see Girly Sistahs....On Monday night at work I WACKED my LEFT WRIST on a BED at work & we was soooo busy I didn't have time to take a looky see to what had happed.....so about an hour later it was Hurtin & I thought why? is it hurtin ..... then DUH me remembered I had that big ole bed jump out & bite me! LOL! So I lookey see that now my wacked wrist did swell & was Bruised.....so I iced it & it hurt all night....but not too bad by mornin....but EVERYONE including the Supervisor said I should go get it checked....So I went to the next town cuz that is were we are to get our Workman COMP stuff done at! Had it x-rayed & told it was OK just bruised bad. So they wrapped it & gave me a Work restriction. So when you are a Nurses Aide & you get work restriction....you are AUTOMATICALLY put on light duty!!! I was told to come back the next morning to have things rechecked. BUT before I could Leave....I had to go pee in a Bottle with a Nurse watching (ALMOST)....So they is sure I am not a Druggy!!!! Then had to breathe in a tube....to make sure I wasn't Sippin Hot Sauce on the Job!!! The last drink I had was a Year & 1/2 ago ..... Shared one with my DH!!!! I am such an ALKY Girly's!!! LOL! Anyway went back & things are much better......but one little sore spot in one area in the wrist....if not better on monday when I go back I gotta have a CT Scan....seems there is this little tiny bone that when broken does not show up on a regular x-ray. So today I had to work in the Day time ..... first day in 6 years since I started as an Aide. This is so I would have enough to keep me busy on Light Duty!!!! So I am OK just a little Sore & A lovely Shade of Brown Green Red on my wrist!!! OH WHAT FUN JOY!!! LOL!!!!
THATS MY STORY & I AM STICKING TO IT!!!!
-
CHECKUM......YOU DEAR!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME AMAZING EFFORT FOR ALL US SISTAH'S!!!! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR HERO!!!!! Yes Kleenix were very MUCH NEEDED!!!!! What a Wonderful thing to do!!!!!
Back laters for the rest to read!!! Mom Duty Now!!!! (((((((((((((HUGS ALL))))))))))))))))
-
Ya Sharon - it is kind of a weird spot... I don't think it is ever really "over" but, it definitely is a better place... I am kind of scared that the LE will get all tweaked up again after the surgery.. gosh these PS's almost don't want to acklowldedge it at all.. I mentioned it to the doc and she barely responded about it. I am getting a Gummy Bear LOL --- to get it you have to be in a trial and they actually PAY you money to be in the trial... side benny LOL
-
Checkum, it's so common for Drs. to not acknowledge LE because many of them know so little about it, let alone how to deal with it. Try to make sure you have been to your therapist and have it as well under control as you can before your surgery.
I've heard girls being VERY happy with Gummy Bears though, hope you will be too.
-
Hugs to all my Escapee friends. Hope you all are having a wondermous Friday!
My DH and I are officially on vacation as of today. Won't be leaving town until Sunday, but it sure felt good to sleep a little later this morning and not having anything pushing at us today.
DH and DD have gone to pick up a bedroom suit that belonged to DH's grandparents. DD decided she's ready to trade in her "little girl" furniture for something more antique:) Afterall, she is 21 years old now:) hehe It'll be really neat to have something that belonged to her great grandparents. Pretty special.
Big hugs everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Checkum!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you're feeling good. Don't make too much of that jam for Bubba and the gang. They'll be showin up ever other day to git some. Ya know how them boys are
