Love the comic relief here...Just what I need after a bad day.....I got the call and i am officially no longer working for Kroger.....On top of that my DD's supposed best friend's mom won't allow my DD back at her house cause her mom says my DD is a bad influence!....More like we don't have money so bug off!....She is sending her dd to a private college.....Of course this is all because her dh died and left them well off!...if he was still around they woudl be in the same boat as we are!.....What freakin nerve!........I called dd's bf's mom but she did not want to discuss it with me.....Darn straight cause she would ahve gotten a mouthful from me on the bad influence HER dd was on mine!.....HER d gave my DD POT!.....
OK I am finished ranting......What I really need is a hug and a job!......I am so dam upset I can't think straight!......i FEEL ABOUT AS USEFUL AS A USED UP PICE OF TRASH////

I'm here! I am going to the doctor today. Yesterday I realized my right foot dropped. I had this a couple of years ago and had to use some sort of electric nerve stimulator. It worked. Don't know why its back. So I can't feel much in my right hand, my right foot still has a diabetic ulcer and is numb, my left leg has arthritis and, of course, my left replacement shoulder. I am completely out of limbs!
I know things are going to get better.
OLD AGE IS NOT FOR SISSIES!

Good morning ladies,
No house work for me today. In fact no work at all. Went to Dr. yesterday and he said I have torn the wound open at my mamo site a little and it is now slightly infected. So antibotics and rest to try to let it heal. I was so upset I started bawling in his office and yelling WHEN WILL THIS EVER BE OVER!!!!!! He hugged me and assured me this was just a small setback and to not stress over it.
So no holding the kids or rocking them or any of the things I need to do for them that requires using those muscles. Much easier said than done. Soooooo while they are sleeping in I am having coffee and getting their school schedules worked out.Have all of their school clothes except new shoes and have made arrangements for after school care with my neighbor for my kinder baby and extended day at the school for my pre-k baby.
They are so excited! And I am a nervous wreck! School starts on Aug. 24 and I am not ready to let either one of them go. This will be the first year for both of them and I don't want to be one of those parents that the teacher has to make leave. What will Felicity do all day with out her blankie or her baby Joe? And Porshalin has no idea how to take care of herself. What will she do among all those tough kids in public school?
Yikes!!!!! I'm scaring myself. Reminds me of Mom saying" Put that stick down! You're gonna put your eye out!!!!" -
Good afternoon ladies-hugs to all. Still trying to recupe from my setback so taking it easy. Boy, this has been a hell of a summer. Stay well and enjoy the sunshine!
-
bkc....It is so Hard to let them go.....It seems like yesterday that I had my first....now he is Married & a baby of his own....Yet my Youngest is 10 & I was going through this same thing 6 years ago....seems like forever.....but it's not! I wish I had magical words.....I think when you go through what you do just to survive & heal......it makes these moments that much more poignant!!!! Somehow it's the moms that have the greater struggle with Growing & Letting go.....Gentle Hugs....
-
Jane_M .... Mum arrested??? Have you gotten the scoop yet???
bkc...Awwwwwww, I remember those days! I was always the last mom to leave the viewing area when I left my kids for their first day. Mr Burke, their principal would come up and comfort me and gently ease me on my way... lol Hope you heal real quick sweetie, be sure and try to explain to the girls that they'll just have to crawl up next to you to snuggle...
CAROLMARIE.. So sorry to hear you've had a setback... Next summer we'll hopefully be well on our way to better times!!!
Julz.. Have you had fun during your time off??? I bet you were a buzy bee...lol
To all the other dustbunnies... hope you have had a blessed day!
-
Ok... instead of doing housework today I almost finished dd's Santa stocking holder...only have to polyurethene it now...
-
BKC, Hope you are feeling better soon. You need to rest and not do anything! It's tough to do with young children, but you really need to.
-
Arnie - that's awful cute!!! I need a couple of those. I fill anywhere from 6-8 stockings depending on where I'm at during the holidays.
-
Arnie,
I love your backyard
Any chance I can drop by and sit there and have a coffee???
-
Maybe Arnie could teach us how to make the stocking holders while we are sitting in her beautiful back yard! I love it!
BTW, How is Mr. Arnie doing??
-
Arnie- Love the stocking holder and the yard.
