Hey Melia-Is there a Saturday you can make it?
Let's give LisaSDCA some time to heal first.

Hey Ladies!!! I miss you all and thought I'd say hi. I got married on June 20. All went well, including HM in Spain! Now I am plugging away at my dissertation. Life back to (my new) normal. How are all of you?
-
Starfish...so good to hear from you..what a nice surprise..Congratulations on your
wedding..and your HM to Spain (we lived there for four years)...I am doing fine
but we do miss you...how is your beautiful daughter doing?
-
Hey Starfish - glad everything is going well and you won't be an ABD for forever.
I think of you when my plane lands in Ft Lauderdale!
-
Hi sisters, Lily, hope you can make the next lunch! We LOVE to have new girls.

Hi all,
I'm thinking that it may be difficult for me to join in for lunch this month if it's on a Sunday. The 9th is our anniversary, the 16th we have tickets for LJ Playhouse, I'll be in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area the weekend of the 22nd-23rd. So that leaves the last Sunday, the 30th. Any Saturday - except the 22nd - would work for me.

Hello all-
Please excuse me for jumping in here. I need some Ruby Red Slippers to get me Home!
I currently live in Wichita Kansas, I was born and raised in L.A. County. My oldest daughter lives in San Diego the TierraSanta area. I so desperately wish I was there. I miss my home state so much and the Ocean especially. I always seem to gain strenght sitting and wathc the waves.
I amn hoping to be back there this X-Mas again like i was the last 2. It would be wonderful to make new friends there.

Hi ladies,
Is this summer screaming by, or what??? My weekends are crazy, so don't know if I can meet up this month, but hopefully life will calm down when school starts again.
I started the healing touch clinical trial at UCSD. I find it very relaxing. I think I have the real healing touch and not the touch only, but I guess I won't find out until the end....
Starfish - congrats on the marriage. Sounds like things are going well for you back in Florida ;-)
Lilij - newcomers are always welcome! Hope to meet you at one of our lunches.
LisaSDCA - you're in my thoughts and prayers. Keep the helmet fastened, we don't want any more incidents..

OK ladies..any takers for an August lunch or should we wait for
school to start??

Beautiful pictures! I wish I kinew how to take such lovely pictures. You have great talent. How are you doing? Did you go to PT this past week? Any great ideas for the back pain?
I'm heading back to Michigan on Sunday. Will really miss my little gals. I've really bonded with my little Saya these past 2 weeks. Such a joy. I expect to be back this way in January so hopefully can catch up with all of you then. BTW how are you doing Lisa SDCA? I continue to pray for you. Linda

Beautiful. Looks like a postcard.
How's the back? Mine is kicking up again; so I best do some yoga today and some stretching. Guess I've been lifting and cleaning more than usual.
Love to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-
Hi guys--Just checked in and I can do 8/30....
-
The 30th works for me.
LisaSDCA is back in the hospital. This time it was because her knee hurt. She has bone mets now. No release date known yet. -
Lisa is at Zion this time.
-
Thanks Brenda..I am sooooo sad to hear about LisaSDCA...is there anything we can do to help her?
-
I am sure if any you live closer to Zion she would probably love a visit. I don't know her room number but I am sure Taylor would give it to me.
-
Brenda, can you PM me her room info please so I can send a card? Also, what's her last name?
-
Lisa is up for vistors if you call and give her a heads-up first.
Nash I am pming you.
I talked to Melia today. She sounded good and misses us as much as we miss her.
-
Poor Lisa - please send her my love. I'd visit but leave tomorrow for two weeks.
I wonder if that wasn't the real reason for breaking all those bones & not the steroids. PM me too with the mailing info please.

Hi everyone, we are leaving for a cruise, San Fran to San Fran, round-trip to Alaska. But we leave on August 31st, so I can go to lunch on the 23rd or the 30th. Love you all, Shirlann
-
Hi everyone, Sorry I've been out of touch. Just getting through these days has been tough lately. Last chemo went well. Now I'm just waiting for the 3 week cycle to come to an end. Not looking forward to going back to work full time at the end of the month.
I can make it on the 30th.
-
Am pretty sure I can make it on the 30th as well. Anyone have suggestions for a restaurant?
Jeanne

Looks like the 30th it is. Where?
LisaSDCA was waiting for her release yesterday afternoon. I posted on her thread.

How about Las Olas or Ki's (again) in Cardiff---isn't that kinda central?
