Thank you!!!!

It saddens me to post this
We lost our Lori this week. She and her Mom, Madeline, contributed to our hugaghan project.
They both received hugaghans. It is my prayer that the hugaghans they received from us brought them love and comfort.
Lori will remain in my heart forever.
I could not stop crying and my husband said when the pain of losing our dear sisters and brothers is so deep, we need to remember that we do make a difference, we send love and hugs and we should take comfort that we sent a part of ourselves with each hugaghan....a part that touched them as they touched us with their kindness and strength.
Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping with the project.
Lori, may you rest in the arms of the angels.
-
I am so sorry...prayrs and thoughts are sent your way...
-
Madison, it hurts so bad when we lose someone. I do think we make a difference in the lives of those we send our boxes of hugs to.
Thank you all so much. I'll be bordering an afghan tonight (hopefully) and it will be going to a new home this week.
Hugs & Prayers

Madison, Liz, and Purple - you all are amazing ! The hugaghan is the MOST beautiful one you all have put together because it is laying on my tv chair to be snuggled in every evening !!! It is a wonderful surprise and I'm very touched that you guys and all those who contribute such a variety of squares and hugs would send me one. I love this project and now I can share in the gratitude all of the other recipients feel when they receive these hugs.
thank you thank you thank you !!!
jenni

Dear Hugafghan gals,
I received a huge parcel today and it was a total surprise. I really don't know what to say to express my appreciation to you all. Thankfully my dad has overcome the critical condition now and started breathing on his own without help of respirator and eating fluid food but is still in hospital and we don't know if he can be back home with us before he has to leave this world. I will see him sometime before the weekend and make sure he gets his beautiful afghan. Thank you so much for being concerned. I really appreciate it.
With much gratitude,
Fumi

So glad that there are so many special people feeling the hugs from the wonderful hugaghans! I have already Thanked our" Dear Assemblers " for sending a hugaghan to my Sister in Law, but also wanted to Thank you all for your contribution. She was absoulutely thrilled and clueless as to how she received one and who sent it that knew her!!! She was concerned about getting a thank you out before her surgery and I told her that I would post it for her. I actually had the dates mixed up....she had a MRI on Monday to make sure there wasn't any progression and the surgery is tomorrow.
Thank you all............!
Hugs,
Denise

Jenni, oh, I am so happy to read that you received an afghan. I want to say thanks for all you do to help this project.
Fumi, glad to read that your dad is off the ventilator and he also received an afghan. You and your family are in our prayers.
Neesie, pray that your SIL does well. We always have you and Fred and now your family in our prayers. Glad that she got an afghan also.
Madison, I couldn't believe when I first read that we lost Lori - we are never prepared or ready to know we have lost someone. Lori knew this is an important project and she really hated it when she could no longer submit squares. I shed tears for Lori and for the friend we lost.
I have a box of squares that I need to mail next week - where should I send them Have quite a number of squares. Let me know.
Blessings to all
-
Naniam, mail them to Madison please. I have a few to border and my aunt is starting to crochet again. She had knee replacement and I told her today she needed to get busy crocheting again since we are getting low on squares. Thanks for helping us. I know you are under so much stress. Blessings to you and Richard. We are all here with you remember.
Back to bordering......crocheting......bordering.......lol

We have used 168 squares in the last few weeks....MB, Liz and I made 2 afghans when they were here....Liz made another one and I am working on one....
My military daughter and SIL have been granted leave and will be her for a week (Friday-Friday)....I have an afghan 3/4's complete and will probably be able to work on it when they are home.
