Hey SaintSisters!!
I've been able to speak directly to our sister Saint, via phone late this morning. It's officially MONDAY now...... we always work hard to connect on Monday.
It was such a blessing to hear her voice.
Good news: she made it to church yesterday & the family was able to go out to eat together in celebration of father's day. HALLELUJAH!!
That much effort was enough to wear her out, but with pacing she sees a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
The incredible news is that her pain has subsided with the conclusion of the rads treatment!! An answer to prayer for certain. Thank you angels. Mercy granted.
So continue to pray -- here for her to read and in your hearts as well. We spoke of how the prayers here have been the genuine uplift that she's needed thru these couple of very dark weeks.
Their family is busy preparing for their RV vacation..... and I think they plan to depart in about two weeks. (Don't hold me to that.)
Thanks from the both of us, for your steadfast support.

(edited cuz we spoke late this morning, not late this afternoon as I'd originally typed. LOL)
-
Yea Saint!!!! Prayers are continuing. Gentle hugs.
Thanks Faith for sharing this great news.
-
That calls for a GREAT GOOGA MOOGA if there ever was one!!! Soooo glad to hear this news. Thank you Faithie for passing it along. Will continue with the prayers and gentle healing hugs. Now start packing girl for that RV vacation. And we want documentation of every mile:) You could even make a movie about it......LOL
-
Good morning Saint. Hope today finds you feeling better.

Hold the Sunday in your heart as you struggle with the last of the crap you are dealing with. Hope to see you posting more often...with pics of DS!
-
Saint..... here's the picture from last night's sunset.
I took this picture, just for you.
(Well, it's also for a few of our other sisters, too, but you're good at sharing. LOL)

I know that you believe that a Creator who can sculpt such a pallette of colors, has all of the details of your journey organized as well.
It's good we can trust in a generous Father.

Good morning sweetie, I hope this day brings you closer to feeling like yourself again.

Looks like morning rollcall unfolding for you, dearest.
We're all praying for continued progress: relief from the fatigue and the blessing of pain receeding further and further from your experience -- from your memory.
Big hugs for HumpDay!

Hope and praying that your pain is less and your strength is more!!
God bless you today in all ways!!! (((((((hugs)))))))
p.s. I haven't had time to pick flowers yet this morning

I'll get you some later, ok?
-
Hugs & thanx to all my sistas!
It is a slow process, but each day I feel a bit stronger & sleep less! I haven't much energy or stamina, but time & a merciful lord will resolve it.......
I am still amazed, humbled & deeply touched by all of the support you continue to offer. I know God hears each prayer & holds us all in his heart!
Be well & stay strong
PS----I first heard "sleep deep & dream sweet" in the chat room about 5 years ago. It was River who used to say it! I steal ANY good lines........."be well & stay strong" was how Kat from Texas always signed out of the chat room---she taught me a LOT about living (& dying) with mets---

Hey there dearie. Came on just to find your smilin' face.
HUGE accomplishment for me today. I clocked in with a total of over 33 miles today, longest ride of the season -- boosting me to a total of 300 MILES!! (And yes, I've now lost 1.5 pounds..... for Pete's Sake! What's up with that??)
But here's the mostest amazingest part of my ride. I was heading out of town, which requires a VERY long slowly, slowly ever steeper grade and you'll never believe this -- I don't yet believe it, but [sure hope that you're sitting down]
I PASSED TWO BIKERS WHO WERE SIGNIFICANTLY, WAY WAY WAY AHEAD OF ME!!!!!
This being my second season of riding, this is the first time that this has ever happened. Honestly. I have never, ever passed anyone -- let alone going up a genuine uphill grade.
I take the time to tell you this, cuz slowly, slowly, slowly I have gotten 'better' at this hill climbing stuff. Granted, I still get left in the dust with genuine cyclists, but it's a BIG thrill to realize that there is at least one set of people who are slower than me. WOW. WOW. Wow!!
Now, I also want to point out that this couple did not appear to be in their upper nineties nor obviously infirmed. There were no wheel chairs nor walkers nor canes in tow.
xx00xx00xx00xx
I think I can, I think I can, I think you can, I think you can, I think we can, I think we can!!
Edited cuz in my excitement to relate this amazing tale (totally true tho) I couldn't spell well.
-
...... and we CAN!!
-
You betcha!!
(See how much I've learned in Wisconsin? LOL!!)
-
Hi Saint, glad to see you here. My prayers continue!!
-
Ahhhh Saint................so good to see you again. I just love that 'sleep deep and dream sweet' sentiment. Thank you for sharing the source.
Heartfelt prayers and gentle hugs continuing to be sent from here.
-
Well praise the Lord!! Saint, it's so GREAT to see your post.
Praise Him, Praise Him, praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the noon time, praise Him, praise Him, praise Him when the sun goes down!!!
I give thanks for your continued strength!!!! Keep on keeping on sister!!!
-
We have a good and gentle God watching over us...

(I even took the words "fear of God" from our wedding vows and had the priest say "love of God".

-
Still praying and pulling for you Saint. Hope your strength continues!
