Awwhhhhhhh I LOVE fat baby feet!!!!!
-
-
-
I saw this "Daddy" with his little ones last week..
-
Lisa, you always come up with the best 'real' pics.
-
Mom was busy too
-
Oh I just love the piggie toe picture, Julz. Had never seen that one.
Now I must get the pics ready to share from yesterday's escape adventure.
-
So yesterday we went to our 'new' marina, where I saw our mascot sailboat "Escape" up on stilts a week ago.
we pulled our pick-up truck into it's parking spot and I saw this sailboat, from MI up on stilts:
I grab my camera, and barely able to contain my laughter, I go skipping across to capture the good sky behind it. I'm laughing so hard, my DH is scratching his head.
I'm thinking -- won't the girls over escaping give me extra credit, for finding a suitable back up.
I click. I capture. And then we go launch our little fishing boat.
-
So then, land lubbers that we are, we launch our little rig.
We are heading out of the marina, and just barely skooting along, in the no wake zone.
We're giddy with the excitement of our maiden voyage of the season. PERFECT weather.
We turn into the deep channel to go out into the bay and RIGHT in front of us, I see:
I seriously can't believe this. I honest-to-goodness, nearly fall outta our boat, cuz I'm lunging for my camera. I'm yelling at DH to slow down, cuz we were nearly ready to pass them. So he cuts the speed and I get to snap a couple of pics for you.
I posed this one for my FB photo album.
and chugging off into the deep end of the pool
Now, fellow escapees. I was never really great in math. I had a real challenge with statistics and probability, that's for certain. But it completely flips my noodle to try to figure out what the odds are of running into our mascot on two successive weekends -- at the exact moment of our brief boating career.
Checkum, I think it is good karma.
PS. This is still NOT our boat. I'm only claiming it for the thread mascot. LOL
edited to get it together, a bit better

Escape - "IN ACTION" I love it!!! How cool.
I like the backup too!
-
I'm not a lottery ticket buyer but Faith..........perhaps you might consider it.
Next time you'll have to ask the captain's permission to 'come aboard'.
Beautiful 'Escape' pictures.
-
Good Morning Escapees. Love the pics Fatith. I agree, go play the lottery!
-
NO! Don't go aboard! It'll ruin the magic. It's the name that counts, not how they sleep in sleeping bags instead of making the bed, or the food they leave on the counter rather than put away, or what kind of beer they drink (while anchored, of course!) Let the magic do it's thing and BE magic...
-
Isn't it cool there is a horseshoe on the back... I agree go get a lottery ticket!
-
hehehehhehehe, that's a flotation device in case someone falls overboard...a life preserver!
-
Maybe we should all buy lottery tickets.
-
The horseshoe life preserver looks like a cushioned toilet seat. Maybe that's what it is!
Let's buy tickets and see who wins!
-
-
But- It is a lucky horseshoe shaped life preserver.... at the same point in time that we are all going nutty with horse pics LOL
-
I think I'd rather play horseshoes than use it as a life preserver. LOL
Sounds much more fun and a little less stressful!!!
Hey to all of you Escapees!!!! It's Monday!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna be 101 degrees here today

-
Yes stay quiet and cool. It is in the 60's here with this constant drizzle and wind.
-
