Hey MB - we were posting at the same time. How is the weather on the hill?
-
Bethie - congrats on finishing chemo! It sounds like a good idea to join the party on the hill. You will love it. We drove all the way from Miami and are still talking about it. MB has a great family. Who else would invite total strangers to her house?
We love you MB!
-
Bumping up this topic and maybe more can attend. Hugs all around, Nancy
-
Hola chicas... I heard about youse guys on the Viva Las Tatas thread... I gotta go read up all the posts to see what you're planning and if me and my 1 year old can attend...
Pinkstock... gotta love it.
-
crap, forgot to add to fave topics...
-
Welcome rachel, glad you found us over here. From what I have read, kids are welcome and hubbies also.
-
Hello Rachel - We had a blast last year. It's a great opportunity to meet and bond bc sisters and their loved ones. The experience is priceless. Yes, everyone is welcome...kids, hubs, significant others, friends, family, etc.. Last year, some stayed in campers and others at a hotel. MB and her family welcomed us all with open arms. I hope you and your baby can make it this year.
-
Rachel... everyone is welcome... please do try to come, my grand daughters love company..
Ok the hotels are not cooperating this year.. the rates are cheaper if you go online or call your self.. the Econolodge , in Cuba, NY is close and easy to get to from my house.. 1-585-968-1992
the Hampton a little more expensive 716-375-1000
anyway.. that what a casino close by will do....
those wanting a camper please let me know.. I would love it if you could send the form.. ( a page or two back).. like a registration.. as it gets closer $$ will help... thanks
hugs to you all.. Mb

from the north(Buffalo)....190 to route 400 south, which ends and then turns into Route 16 south, which takes you into HINSDALE...go under the expressway(route 86) and take the first Right onto Gile Hollow...Turn left onto Maple Hill Rd...(up a hill) then look for the signs...
(Binghamton) east ...Route 86 to the Hinsdale Exit...left onto Route 16...first right onto Gile Hollow follow the pink ribbons
(Erie, Pa.)west...Route 86 to Allegany Exit...follow the signs to the Allegany Limestone School (and the pink ribbons)turn onto the the Five Mile Road...do not turn off.(+\-13 miles) to the top of the hill...(mountain)...turn left onto Steward Rd...second house on left....
South (Pa)....inside joke...(you can't get here from there)...anyway somehow get to Route 86...then follow either east or west directions....why is there no easy way thru Pa...?
hugs if you need more info PM and I'll give you my phone# -
Anyone have an idea how long it will take to drive from Washington, DC? Obviously an approximate time...
-
Lefty - Probably around 8 hours. FYI - we drove to Frederick, Maryland afterwards and it took us around 7 hours. We did stop for lunch and bathroom breaks. Hope this helps.
-
Lol, odalys... bathroom breaks - gotta have more than one of those... Thanks for the time frame.
-
Hi All - looks like Terry & I might make it. Need to check a few things first - but don't count us out!!
What is o the agenda this year? Is the bra thing still happening? I better do some shopping !
Ladies- don't forget - MB could use some money!!
-
He's in Rochester!! I've copied and pasted your most recent post with the sign up form and emailed it to her. Rad consult is 6/8, then roughly a 3 week break, then rads. My sister who's taking me to Pinkstock and I are going down to NC to visit our other sister before rads. I'm starting to see peach fuzz on my head!! I also have a new 2 month old kitten, Elsie. She's too cute!!
-
Hey gang
Got bad news. I unfortunately can't make it to Pinkstock. I have too many other trips planned, and very little time on my timesheet.
-
Wow where's all the excitement for Pinkstock this year. I guess when I was counting down the days last year it really kept it in the front of everyone's mind. I won't be making it this year friends. I am going to New York but it will be around July 10 and I am only staying a few days. I really am going to miss you. I so loved my time there last year.
-
sorry Brenda, been offline for a few days!
I do hope people stillwant to come.. seems like the economy is taking its toll on PINKSTOCK this year..
When I get home I will get some numbers from those that are coming so I can make plans..
take care all see you next week...
