Who is on border patrol this week? I have another dozen squares ready to go out tomorrow.
-
Wow you girls are busy!
I have some bordered squares - ready for a home... any takers?
-
I have some squares - I always think I need to send LOTS. I have 25. Want me to send them or wait and do more?
Madison, the story of Hannah just breaks your heart. I think she described it wonderfully when she said that she was a child but felt grown up too because of her BC. When you saw her with the afghan, it just proves how special they are to those that receive them.
A big thank you to all that keep this project going. You're the BEST.
Our DD and g-daughters were home. She was so thankful that you remembered Richard with one and talked about how beautiful it was. Wanted you to know she thinks you are all some very special ladies.
-
Brenda, we know you are special too.. glad you can feel the love..
hugs to you...

You ladies never cease to amaze me. My DH Bill called me at work today and told me a package arrived from Madison with his name on it. I told him to open it and he was speechless - inside was you guessed it - a hugaphan!! He wanted me to let you all know he is forever grateful and thanks you all. He will log on this weeekend to thank you himself when he is feeling better ( he had round 4 this week).
As for me - I think you ladies all ready know how I feel!!! I love you all!!!
Here he is wrapped in hugs -
Valerie
-
Tears are flowing... a big hug to both of you!
-
Val,
I'm thrilled that Bill got his hug!! He is a special guy and you have a very handsome fellow there.
Hope he has himself wrapped in it as it is a bit on the cool side and very damp and raining here - think you have the same.
Give Bill a hug from all of us - Brenda
-
Yeah!!! I am thrilled both Bill and Richard got an afghan. Now they can both be surrounded by our love.
-
Val,
I'm glad the hugaghan arrived. I hope it brings Bill some comfort knowing we are all sending our support.
-
I have one and am having difficulty delivering.... never thought it would be so hard.
-
madison and liz - boxes mailed out today .... should be there in 5-7 days ......
thanks for all you do
-
Ladies-
Thank you for the hugahan! It was a cold and rainy night last night and it really came in handy. That picture that Valerie took of me really isn't me but my evil twin Benji. Anyway, I often steal hers and no longer have to since I now have my own. Your remarkable generosity will never be forgotten. I am currently dealing with the side effects of chemo which all of you are all too familiar with and after 9 years of dealing with this disease I can truthfully say I have had enough. Thank you again for thinking of me.
Bill
-
Bill - glad you received the hugahan. Keep up the fight! You mean the world to Val and she means the worl to us!
-
dreamwriter...... I can send you money to forward it on if you need me to.
Bill & Val, I am always so happy to see a box of hugs arrive. They always seem to arrive on a day when they are so needed.
I have a picture of Neesie's hubby Fred and his afghan somewhere. I'll have to find it and post it.
We couldn't continue to do this without each and everyone of you.
Thanks so much.
Hugs & Prayers
-
Hey Bill ... tell Benji I think he's really handsome!
Hoping the days are getting better for you.
I think I saw Delberts ear in the corner of that pic!!
Love you Val and Bill,
Bren
-
Hey Bren - your right - it is Delbert's ear!! Good job! Did you notice the little table? lol
Love ya,
Valerie
-
No money needed, mke is delivering... she has the phone number and will help get it to where it should go.
-
Oh boy, I am crying too now. Glad to see these hugaghans going to such beautiful, deserving people. I don't know Bill but I hope and pray all is well with him and he looks like he's wrapped in all the love we all send.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Jackie
-
WOW you ladies are wonderful.........I still don't have enough squares to send but soon I hope to.......
-
