Madison and ALL the ladies that support the hugaghan project-
When we arrived home from the consult with the colorectal cancer surgeon, there was a note in the mailbox that a package was on our front porch. Richard got the package and he had a hard time understanding that the afghan was for him. Wednesday night and Thursday morning were hard for him as he was really scared about the visit with the surgeon. His eyes filled with tears and he just couldn't believe that he was sent one of these; that he mattered enough to receive one. He wants me to tell you how much this meant to him; that it is just beautiful and he has placed it at his chair. He is so honored and he thanks you for your prayers and concern for him as he starts this journey.
Madison, thank you for my "care" items too. I miss you. I wish we were closer and could visit again. Thank you, Liz and MB and all the women for keeping this project going.
So Richard now starts the cancer journey - he has been diagnosed with Invasive Adenocarcinoma of the colon. We are having to wait until July for the MRI and surgery.
I have some squares - not quite enough to mail but I have a feeling I'll be having plenty of time in the weeks ahead to crochet lots.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - just as with so many other times, it arrived at just the right moment a hug was needed.
Blessings to all, Brenda
-
Brenda - OM - I am so happy! Give your dh hugs from me... I am so happy to be a part of this project... tell dh that - HE ROCKS! And we are here for you two... be well... Lots of hugs to you two!

We sent an hugaghan to the 10 year old who is battling breast cancer.
Her name is Hannah.
She was interviewed by Good Morning America. She was wrapped in our hugaghan when she received her first chemo treatment.
Go to the Good Morning America website......put Hannah in the search box and you will find the video.
Please view the video. She is an amazing young lady.
Hugs, Madison
